Hey guys!
On an unrelated note to all that’s going on at the moment, with an idea that’s just been swimming around in my head, I feel the site needs to be a lot more active. This site needs to be just more than solid information, and something that people are motivated to look at because they enjoy it, not because they have to in order to be looking for events to take part in. SO, I think we need to make the site a lot more interactive, a little bit like CPAC, not just with the troops agreeing with the ideas of owners that post things, but actually having their own ideas, posting them on results post, talking about their opinions on events and such.
But enough of that. To make sure that we have enough stuff on the site where it’s not just results post after results post, us Nacho Owners need to be creating the content for you guys. I’ve come up with an idea already – A sort of occasional RoundUp thing.
Now, I sort of base the idea off of something that is on Equestria Daily, but basically in the “Roundup” I, or any other owner that wants to help me out, when I’m not around, will be posting about things that have been discussed in Nacho Chat, any funny things that have been going on, such as earlier, I was posting pictures of people that were in Sneezy’s unlocked photobucket, and that was pretty funny. If you guys get some funny screenshots of things that happen in chat occasionally, then you can give them to the owners, and they can be added to the roundup. This means that everyone should be enjoying the moments that we create by seeing them on site, not just the few that are watching chat. But it doesn’t just have to be funny moments that are in the roundup. I’m certain that our community here is full of very creative people, so any drawings of the nachos, graphics, music, videos, ANYTHING that you make will be added to the roundup. If something interesting and worth a debate is discussed on chat, then we can add that too so you guys can discuss in the comments.
As I’ve already said, the site needs to be more interactive. There should be contests as well to get you guys some prizes as well. I’ve already got an idea for a contest in my mind already – and if you want a sneaky tip – it’s about video-making, so if you haven’t already, maybe you should make a youtube account and download sony vegas or something if you plan to participate! It’s gonna be fun, and themed, so don’t worry about inspiration – It’ll be revealed next week. For now, practice your video-making skills.
As you all know, Puckley’s retirement draws very near – you need to be attending his retirement battle, by the way. And with Puckley, because he’s such an amazing leader, he’s been able to support this army with just his great leadership skills (and coworkers, Beeky, Edd, Ads, I’m lookin at you guys), but now that he’s leaving, the responsibility doesn’t actually really shift onto the rest of the ownership team, like you would expect. The responsibility shifts to you guys. You need to help us help you. We all need to help keep this site active, so as I’ve been saying – let’s all work together to make all ideas we have work, and make this strong army we have right now, a legendary one.
