Hey guys,

Well, here we go again. It’s another one of THESE posts. Y’know, the kind of post that keeps coming up, and it’s talking about comments. Yes, it IS regularly said on this site that we should be having more comments on all the posts that are made, and I’m hoping it should, by now, be going as an unsaid rule.

Basically, if you attend an event (which we EXPECT you to do), then you need to be keeping your eyes peeled, every hour or so, for that results post to go up, in which case, we would like you to read it and then comment that you made it to that event. I know it’s a frustrating thing to do, but it puts you miles in this army. Trust me.

The comments on the site are mainly what makes you who you are to the owners who accept pending comments here. If you’re usually outspoken on chat, then the comments section is your time to shine. You won’t be overlooked, promise. I read every single comment I accept on this site, and by that, I mean EVERY comment. And that’s not just because I have to. It’s because I’m interested on what you guys are really like, what you think of the Nachos at the moment, how you thought an event went. And most importantly, it’s a chance to get to know YOU and how loyal YOU are.

I remember (oh no) when I was a lowly sergeant, back in JANUARY (you know that’s only like 9 months ago, right?) , I did absolutely EVERYTHING I could to get noticed by my superiors. And I mean EVERYTHING. I was always chatting away on chat, helping out, helping settle people down, and more importantly, COMMENTING ON SITE. Like, I commented on every post. I’m not so great with that now, but I guess there’s room for improvement on everything we do, right?

I do remember one instance where a UK time for a USA event was labelled [NOT EXPECTED], and I commented, “Not expected? Challenge accepted!”. BE THAT AS CHEESY AS IT MAY, it made an impression, because Puckley replied something along the lines of “Next soldier of the year, I think!”. I was absolutely thrilled with a leader saying such a thing, and I went on to make that event which was at 1:00 AM for me. And 6 months after I rejoined this army, I made moderator. If you’ve been here for 1 year and still haven’t made mod yet, (I knew the feeling back in ’08, trust me. Lowest member for 10 months), then here is something you may not have been doing right.

So even if that was me going off on a SLIGHT tangent, the principle still remains. We want YOU, and by you, I mean YOU, not anyone else, to comment on every post you can. From now on, I wanna be seeing 20+ comments per post we have, starting from now. Make it a challenge. See how many posts you can comment on in a row. It really helps us owners out with promotions and stuff, TRUST me. SO please, please PLEASE. Make a huge effort to keep commenting on the site. We LOVE it. And don’t be afraid to thumb up/down other people’s comments if you liked ’em or didn’t like ’em. We love to see that too.

SO yeah, next results post that comes out, I expect to see 20 or more comments on it please! 😀 Thanks!
