I sound like the motherfucking CHEF RAMSAY of CP armies, but I’m being 100% serious right now.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON we should be getting anything under 15-20 people every event, let alone 10.
We are 8th on CPAC. That is a far cry from our consistent Top 3 ranking over the last year or so. We should not even be in this position. We should not be getting these ridiculous numbers.
We are at war with the two (or three) biggest assholes in armies, yet we’re only barely putting up a fight. Our values are in grave danger, yet we’re letting them slip right through the cracks. We get exhausted after one okay event, then collapse for the next. What we’re considering ok is an event with a max of 12-13 troops. This is unacceptable by 2008 or even 2007 standards. It’s a pity.
I am not calling our soldiers lazy. I am saying we need to all work for this army if we want it to survive. I am not trying to say this army is dying either. We’re at a crossroads right now. Whatever road we go down depends on how much effort goes into this army by our troops. We all need to work to preserve this army’s memory, legacy, and values. Slowly fading into the darkness is not an honorable end, nor is it an option.
What I am saying is this. No mas. No more having to barely edge out ACP. No more having to struggle against RPF because ACP tired us out. If we all want to defy the odds, win this war, and ride off into the sunset, we all need to be following the same path. It is not up to Beeky, not up to Mike, not up to Wolfie, not up to me whether we will achieve that end. It’s up to the backbone of this army, the troops propelling it. Whatever happens to this army will be a result of our troops pitching in, not because of our leaders.
I am not saying we all need to recruit 6 hours a day either. I am saying we all need to do our part and go to events, recruit whenever you’re on a dead chat, and try to do what you can to prevent this army from blowing a gasket. That is not much to ask from everyone.
In short, this is an ultimatum for the troops of this army. If we do not pick up our game soon, we can very well become the next Night Warriors or IMAF; the next legendary army to become a forgotten relic only preserved in memory and ridiculed by the rest for their fall.
Whatever each one of us does from now on will be critical to the well-being of this army. I mean everyone, everyone from Private to Leader. We’re all in this together.
No more half measures.
No más.

I agree with this 100%.
Very inspirational post Shiver. 🙂 We need to keep in mind that we’re dealing with a smaller troop count than we had during the summer, roughly 70 troops now instead of 110-120. However, that still doesn’t excuse maxing 12 troops at many of our weekday events. We probably should be maxing around 20 at weekday events, and 25-30 at weekend ones, and I’ll do what I can to help out. We can win this war, and hopefully later on put RPF in the grave.
Great post. I just hope other people take this seriously. This feels like the 3rd or 4th post I’ve seen lately lecturing the army to get our numbers rising.
