Hola Nachos!
Upon logging into Club Penguin today, I noticed that I was in a room I had never been in before. I was in the lobby of a boat! The music jam had officially started. Please note that for the purpose of the pictures, I went on a small server, Fjord.
Each new party as a special room that everyone wants to go to. It’s the room that people want to be in. It’s new. It’s exciting. This room is the lobby. Interesting formations that I’ve seen tried out in this room include two lines in which one line goes up the left staircase, and the second line goes up the right.
This would not be good for a big army and as we can get quite big, the stairs might not be the best formation. The chat bar line also isn’t appropriate due to the fact that the chat bar line is actually a door that leads into the docks.
When changing rooms in a practice battle, a war or a tournament… it is vital that speed is on your side. You want to be the first in their so you can in a way, dictate the formations and tactics that start the room off.
With this new map that pops up, you will have to exit that and then go to the “return to Club Penguin” map which will take up time. It is important to use the three count from the leaders to close the map. Don’t see the leader say “OPEN MAPS” and then wait for three to return to CP.
Something that actually shocked me is the lack of rooms that have been decorated this year. The Plaza, Ice Berg, The Beach, The Forest and more have all stayed the same this year. Could that be good for us?
We are used to things how they are. Is it good for armies to have to adapt to changes with rooms? Rooms like the Plaza and Berg are popular places for our army to fight their battles, this includes pre-battles too. The fact that these rooms haven’t changed mean that we know what formations we can do in the room.
It’s the number one enemy. The thing every army despises. This is the lag. Rooms like this will create a series lag and due to Club Penguin exceeding the number of people allowed in each room to try to show of the boat, the lag will be bigger than ever.
The last main problem is the fact that the rooms are getting full. This will encourage army lockouts especially when we max sizes like 25-30, much like we have been doing in the past few weeks.
In conclusion, avoid the boat at all times due to the lag, mass of people, high risk of lockouts and the sacrifice of formations like the chatbar line.
