Declaration

Hola everyone, Aka here.

Well, if you’ve read the CPA post yet, it is true that I will be running for the Major Army Minister position come September 19th.

Here is my appeal to you for your vote to elect me.

For Nachos, I am as inseparable from the name as Person, Shadow, Zippy, and Tom Wolf. Having lead for three (technically four) times, I have fought and worked every moment of my army life to have been to the places I was at. From The Canada Invasions under Zippy, to The ACP/Nachos Cold War which is where the rivalry between Nachos and ACP emanated from, to every World War (beyond the first one), I have seen many things and made many friends and enemies. After coming back to CP Armies three weeks ago after an extended retirement, I decided the best way to advance The Nachos’ cause (along with the rest of CP Armies as an extension) is not to seek another leadership, because if the only leaders worth mentioning are former leaders and legends, then there will never be a reason for people to try to become leader and make a name for themselves. Also, I would most likely have an unfair edge and be subject to the waiting game and going on CP to work up to a position I already know I’ve done great at before. I feel this is the best way right now for any one person can make a difference outside of being a leader, and of course being the person I am with the experience + rhetoric I have gained over the years that I am the best choice for the position. Even better yet, we currently don’t have anyone to represent Nachos in any community whatsoever. This is our chance to guarantee we will have someone around doing that for the next 6 months. Remember, that CPAC was originally created by Puckley, so it would do us all a dishonor to allow Nachos to be forgotten in the world’s eye.

For the general CP community, this is it. The chance for an unbiased person whom is unaffiliated with TWA recognized armies to make the necessary choices to revitalize this game that we’ve made out of CP Armies. As I am an adult with a real job (I am a Specialist in the National Guard), I do not have the ability to no-life this game (like a few people you might know who do). I will be present for meetings, maybe a few odd days out of the month, and then I am gone and away from everyone else, making it impossible for anyone to get in my ear and control me or bribe me from behind the scenes. There won’t be any corruption while I am around, and the common soldier will immensely benefit from someone like I in the office, someone whom is unrelated to any drama between leaders and makes choices for the benefit of all rather than for the few. There are many things I will get established once I am in office, one of them deciding ties between armies should it be approved by the majority. Currently, I view that CPAC as a site holds too much power due to all the events that are set up through them, and this is one way to keep CPAC around whilst preventing a few people from having the power to determine who is the best army month after month. During the bi-monthly meetings, all armies who have ties will submit their screenshots/posts claiming victory over the other army to me, and after studying each picture extensively and hearing what the leaders+soldiers say, I will make the most balanced decision for CPAC to account for in the statistics used in the Top Ten Armies segment that is run. There will finally be a face to all of these numbers and I will publicly defend any and all decisions I have made. There isn’t anyone else whom can compare to the things that I have said, and that is why I ask for your vote so we can strive to make this game even better than it has been when I was leading, and extend that experience to everyone far and wide.

My stances on important issues:

  • I am strictly against bots and multilogging, as I have always been. It cheapens the work that soldiers do and gives recruiting sessions no meaning when you can just send bots to every server and do it in your stead. This is my primary objective to work on going into office, is to make sure those who use bots are punished either through CPAC or by the public at large, through posts and working to establish amendments to TMC to penalize bot users when they turn up. No one should feel as if they have to use bots to be equal to major armies whom do use them.

  • I am against tyranny and unwilling dictatorship over armies. This prevents new people from taking the mantle to lead and enjoy one of the most fun things you can do in CP Armies. No one wants to be told what to do every step of the way, and concentrating power in the hands of one individual is allowing every decision they make to be made as a dice roll, with a 50% success rate and a 50% dissatisfaction rate that only gets higher with every mistake made. To avoid this, I will encourage armies to be run by two or three leaders, or at the very least multiple Co-leaders to balance out the power and give troops something to look forward to. More important positions=more things get done with greater approval=a want for troops to stay in the army to attain these positions=greater recruit turnout=a great army. I will also support coups that embrace these ideals.

  • I am for democracy and the expansion of it CP-wide. Involving soldiers in the decision making process everywhere, and hearing arguments from every side of the table lets troops find their skills for politics early and helps to identify people who will lead in the next generation. Your voices are important! Don’t refuse to talk, because then you will never be heard and you won’t have the strength to lead a large army and deal with attacks.
  • I am strictly for strong leadership. No one should have a passive role in an army, and too many leaders of great armies are forgotten because they don’t know how to get their voice out there or are scared of public humiliation. There was a point in time where it was a good thing for armies to have rivalries and war with multiple people. Q: How do you think World Wars started? A: Because people stood up for their friends and allies and didn’t sit on the sidelines running practice battles with people in the name of friendship. Make choices! Schedule events! Attend events! Invade servers! Do something! You’re the leader of an army, aren’t you? Your soldiers thrive on fighting and being useful, not recruiting and having “fun” battles.
  • I am for public debates/arguments between armies. Nothing makes a recruit want to play more than fighting an enemy that you’ve been fighting since the beginning of Club Penguin. It allows for alliances to be more easily established, motivates people to make posts about the rivalry, and creates arguments that garner discussion and interest in armies that aren’t your own.
  • I am against people being in multiple armies and having important positions in them. Do you think anyone cares that you’ve been in 6 armies and lead 2 of them? To me, all that it proves is that you’re a useless flip-flopper whom can’t commit himself to one cause and make yourself a legend through that army. If your small army goes under, that means that either due to ineffective leadership or decline in your army, then it means you failed. It does not mean “well, here is another army I can put on my list to get a higher rank when I join the next army!” If you are the victim of a coup in a well-established army and are applying to another, it means you failed to control your soldiers and build a good public image, and once again, it means you failed. There is no excuse or sympathy for you or any of your friends which failed. Public humiliation is a good thing, because it weeds out cowards and drives people with a weak spine away from leading. Do you think you’re going to be overthrown soon because of your actions? Then leave and retire. We don’t want you in our armies.

There are more issues which I haven’t described, but if you want my stance on something I am open at any time to questions in public or private chats as long as they involve this campaign and what I believe needs to be done. I am usually on the Nacho chat, but I will respond to private chat requests as well.

To wrap things up, if you want someone who will take a hardline stance on issues in CP Armies, whom cannot be biased or corrupted, has a strong spine and great rhetorical powers, whom isn’t afraid to make enemies, whom isn’t afraid to stand with his friends, is devoted to a singular cause, and works for the good of the common soldier and beyond? Then there is without a doubt that I am the best person for the job in every respect. We can all work together to make this game so much more than it already is, and this is where it starts.

-Aka
