Welcome to the Nachos! We were one of the most powerful and legendary armies in all of Club Penguin. Known for our fun and enjoyable atmosphere, we're always having a good time! PB with Ice Warriors [RESULTS]

Hola Nachos!

Sorry this results post wasn’t out sooner! We had a slight misplacement of pictures which meant it took us a few extra hours to post.

Last night, our UK division logged onto Sub Zero (1 bar server) for a practice battle v Ice Warriors. We managed to max a size of 16 and averaged 14 which in my opinion, is good for a Tuesday night. The only issue we had during this event was people not focusing enough on Club Penguin, and instead placing their attention on talking to their friends on xat. Our tactics were pretty okay, but i’d like them to be quicker & for everyone to be in sync – it’s not too big of a deal though, each troop is amazing at tactics usually & these things will come in time with a bit of practice. 😀

Thank you to everyone who attended this event!

Quick Overview of the Rank Changes that have Transpired

Greetings,

So, being the curious information-craving and active participant that you are, you’re probably wondering what’s going on with the multiple owners leaving problem, and the 5ic-4ic situation. Well, rejoice, as I’m going to enlighten you with everything you’ve ever wanted to know about what’s happened over the past few days.

Let’s take a look at the ranks page, specifically the 5ic and higher zone:

D9Zry7y

We’ll work our way down. Emily, after only a month of leadership, made the decision to quit on Sunday; her primary reason being that she believed she wasn’t getting the respect she deserved. And I’ll be honest, I feel for her on that. Let’s not lie. Some of you say some real nasty things on chat, and if it’s getting to the point where it’s making a leader leave, then it’s probably time to tone it down (I was obviously much different a few months ago). Though she’s helped out RPF at an event or two, please don’t consider her a traitor. She didn’t join RPF, and she’s even implied that her army career is pretty much over. Terrible way to end in my opinion, but hey, opinions don’t exist. Laoise was obviously promoted in her place, and she’ll be a big helping hand to the leadership (not that she wasn’t already).

Anyway, Pony, a longtime owner, has also hung up her sombrero. Like many people, her social life and school just completely overtook her free time, and she decided that it’d be best if she left. Weazel was promoted in her place, and will essentially act as a second leader of the US divsiion. As you can see above, Dj is currently our only remaining 3ic. Will that change? Could that change? I wish I knew.

Lastly, remember that mod competition that I’ve been talking about over the past two weeks? Well, we’ve ditched that, and decided to just handpick our 4ics for now. The three we have right now are the most apt for owner right now in our eyes, and one or two of them will most likely be filling up the 3ic vacancies in the near future. We’re going to be keeping the 4ic rank with a low quantity of people, so come next promotion day, don’t be surprised if you only see one 5ic promoted.

Well Nachos, that’s all I have on that. Obviously we aren’t in the same dominant position that we were in a year ago, and you know what, I’ll go out right now and say that we will not achieve the sizes this summer that we had in 2013. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be the most successful. As long as we can get into the 30s consistently this summer, we’re going to have a lot of fun, Nachos – you’d be surprised on what we can do when outnumbered. It’s going to take some work to get there, though. We’re averaging  about 15 at most of our UK and US events, and we’re basically starting from scratch with our AUSIA division. It’ll take some hard recruiting to get at least 15 more loyal, active, and positive people in each division. But we’ve done it before; Look at March. We’re only a little bit better off now than we were in February, and only after a few small weeks of recruiting, we were maxing 55 in the March Madness Finals. Let’s do it again.

IMPORTANT POST: Mandatory Recruiting.

Hola Nachos!

Recently, It has come to our attention that very few people in the army are recruiting daily on Club Penguin. Right now, we’re in the stages of rebuilding and in order for us to get bigger and better, everyone needs to put an effort in to gather new troops. This is why, starting from tomorrow, a mandatory recruiting rule will be put into place.

When Salsa Meets Ice.

Hola Nachos!

Today, Our UK division logged onto Ice Palace (1 bar server) For a scheduled PB with RPF. After logging on for 10 minutes & seeing no sign of the Rebels, we were told that they couldn’t attend and the Nachos were given an automatic victory. Instead of logging off, we thought it would be a good idea to turn this into a “You-Lead” Training event. The Nachos managed to max a size of 15 and averaged a size of 14 which is pretty good for a Monday evening event.

Great job today Nachos! Thank you to everyone who took pictures.

Introducing Myself!

Hola Nachos,

Well, I never thought i’d be writing this post in a million years, but here it goes… 😀

Last night, the most amazing thing happened to me during my entire army career. This was something I never thought would happen and honestly, i’m still in shock. I was given the best opportunity a troop could ever dream of  – I was appointed as a new Nacho Army leader.

I’m so grateful for this opportunity to lead the army i’ve loved ever since way back in the early months of  2010, when I met a penguin recruiting for the Nachos in the Town.  My friends and I, (some of who are still in the Nachos today, right Benag? 😉 ) immediately searched for this army and found an old website telling me how to join.  I left a join comment and was added to the ranks.

Soon afterwards, I joined the chat and instantly fell in love with it. I loved the Nacho’s care-free attitude towards everything & the fact that everyone seemed to be having fun. That day, I attended my first event v ACP & tried, unsuccessfully to lead it which resulted in me being kicked multiple times… good job, Laoise.

For a long time afterwards, I stayed with the Nachos, creating my own armies along the way thinking i’d rise to the top of CPAC.(I failed miserably) I made a youtube account  & a twitter page for the army and basically spent most of my time on the chat, enjoying my time here. I attended as many events as possible and tried my best to rank up as a troop.

After 8 months I decided to leave xat and Club Penguin and continue on with my life for a while, Until January this year when I decided to pay the Nachos a visit to see how they were doing. Straight away I realised how much of an amazing place this army still was & decided to rejoin. I spoke with some people and after a few minutes, Wolfie offered me my old rank back which I gratefully accepted… Which has now brought me up to today!

As a new leader, my main goal is to make sure everyone in the Nachos is happy and that we constantly progess together as a team. I know we’ve been struggling for the past while but, we’re beginning to slowly rise again and i’m proud of each and every one of you. The Nachos, In my opinion, Is the best army there is in Club Penguin. No matter how many times we fall,or how difficult a task was put in front of us, we’ve constantly stood by each other’s side and pulled through – That’s something not all armies can do.

The Nachos will always be my main priority and no matter what, we’re all in this together. I’ll take everyone’s comments on board and listen to what each troop has to say, in order to make this army even bigger and better than it is now. We’re a team and each troop is as important as the next. The Nacho Diamond age is still in our sights and i’m hoping for an amazing summer with you all.

Thank you  to Beeky & 6789Cool for giving me this opportunity. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for this great army.

Remember Nachos;

Sombreros Together, Nachos Forever.

Nachos Forever!

Hola Nachos,

As some of you may or may not know, yesterday was a very proud day for me and anyone who has helped me become who I have become. Yesterday, I 6789cool, was appointed Nacho Leader, for which I am deeply, deeply honored and extremely grateful.

You might want to hear it, you might not, but for all those who’ve not been with me from start to finish, here is how my Nacho Career spanned out.

I started off as any other Nacho would, back in 2007. I was pretty young then but I absolutely adored the feeling of hanging out with other people, attending fun events and throwing snowballs on Club Penguin. It was and always has been an absolutely unique atmosphere. I went through 2007 pretty much unnoticed, apart for being a bit of a noob/idiot (anyone who says I still am, stfu please). In 2008 I got up to highest member and then left, and went to go do other things, making my own army for a little while, and then I left CP armies entirely in 2009.

However, that changed when, December 19th 2012, I made the decision to return to the Nachos. It started off as coming back to chat to reminisce some old memories. But as I told people who I was, some of them remembered me. Puckley was one of these people who welcomed me straight into the chat, and I was soon offered my old rank of “Sergeant” back.

I got pretty addicted to Nachos (like in real life). I didn’t miss more than 2 events between january and april, whether they were UK or USA (I am from the United Kingdom). I loved my life here. In exchange for my hard work, I was promoted to UK leader, as the division badly needed a leader. I took this role on as a challenge, and I loved that I had been given the opportunity to prove my worth. I like to believe that, with a little help from others, I brought the almost non-existent Nacho UK division back from the dead. For my efforts, I was quickly promoted to 3ic, which I was absolutely shocked at, yet, I was so grateful for. During the summer, I only enjoyed my time in the Nachos more.

When Puckley left, things got a little rough, but Nachos pushed through and kept going. Through a tough and arduous winter, my endurance was tested, my patience was limited and my time was stretched. But the nachos and I pulled through, I kept attending events that I could, and although through January and February my activity fell down a bit, I remained a Nacho, forever. I would never leave us for another army, because Nachos is my one and only true home.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me along this extremely amazing, stressful and just overall fun journey to reach my ultimate goal. The first person I’d like to thank is Puckley. In my opinion, Puckley made gave me the drive to get where I am now. And he taught me the basic skills that every leader should have. I probably wouldn’t have been promoted so fast if it wasn’t for him and how he believed in me. And thanks to his belief, I’m now leader of the Nachos.

Next, I wanna thank beeky, because he’s taught me that you can’t get everything your way, and he’s also taught you that being a truly good leader is not about how you utilise the good periods that an army has. Being a truly good leader is having the endurance to carry on through the bad times, and how you deal with things when things don’t go so well.

Now, I wanna thank Laoise because she’s supported me unduly for maybe the last month and a half, helping me to become the best I can be and so I can reach my true potential, which is becoming leader.

Lastly, I want to thank YOU. Every troop that has been in this army, whether they have fought with me, whether they have been my best friend, every step of the way, you’ve made my life here interesting and enjoyable. I love you all 😀

Also, a special thanks to shadow2446 for actually recruiting me. Wouldn’t be here without ya buddy.

Today is not the end of the journey though – it’s merely the beginning. Together, as Nachos, we will become the very best army around yet again! We will go back to our core values, proving our dominance and having fun while doing it!

~6789cool – VIVA LOS NACHOS!

POLOFIELD GOES NACHO!

Hola Nachos!

So I was just given a picture of a pretty awesome tweet that famous penguin & CP Mod “Polo Field” just released on his twitter! Looks like we’re really starting to get noticed as an army! This is a really great thing around Club Penguin, because it gets us known, and it means that new recruits will find their way to the site a LOT quicker and more often!

This is a lesson to everyone, then that you should be on CP recruiting, making some noise and making us known! If you want, you can grab a few friends and spread the word about the Nachos wearing Nacho uniform :D. That way, maybe you will get noticed by some more famous penguins and the more known we become around Club Penguin, the bigger and better we become!

Keep up all the good efforts recruiting those penguins!
