Warning: There is also “mild” language, and slight casual racism, don’t worry, I’m not a racist, and I’m not necessarily being intentionally racist. Please don’t take offence to the post, and if you’re easily offended, just don’t read it, thanks. [Edit 2: It’s barely offensive, I intended on adding an extra rant, before figuring that the subject of that rant would be tooo offensive for some people, lol.]
Secondary note: If I mention any traditions that are British, that are not copied in our oversees neighbours, then I really don’t care, please don’t point it out.
After a pretty good unscheduled event, [see below] we went to go defend Fjord, a server that LT apparently wants pretty bad. However, when everybody cooperated and logged on, everything worked out fine. We started our day out in the forts, and things looked pretty good, but we were pretty sloppy in the town, which needs to improve. We had our best tactics of the day at the ice berg, because [I cannot stress this enough] everybody was responsive. The more active you are on CP, the better the tactic will look, and the better chance we’ll have at winning. We maxed around 23, which was a little below our goal. I’ll be generous this time and we will have an early promotion day. You can probably start looking for it the week of Christmas. Overall, it was a solid performance, and I don’t know about you guys, but I felt much better leading this one. It feels good to get these sizes, doesn’t it? The battle ended in a tie; let’s finish this war.
I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss, and, in their struggles to be truly free, in their triumphs and defeats, through long long to come, I see the evil of this time and of the previous time of which this is the natural birth, gradually making expiation for itself and wearing out.
We silenced our doubters by scoring a major victory against LT by retaking our capital server. During the event, we maxed 14 and averaged around 10. Because this event was improperly placed, I’m surprised we had that many troops in attendance.
Now, what we can improve is troop activity during events. We were good on not logging off during/before the event, but it would be nice if we were all there like 10 minutes before event.
Nevertheless, retaking our capital is a good step toward recovery. Now, lets all take a look at that event post we have up on our site and see what we can all do to restore this army.
