I complained to wordpress about the acp site, this is what they said:
“Hi,
I apologise for the delay.
This was caused because someone used a credit card that did not belong to them to buy several hundred dollars worth of credits.
They then gave those credits to other people and some of those gave them to even more people. And many people spent them.
We got information telling us that the money had been spent when it should not have been and we had to give it back. But that meant we had to start finding who had the credits and what they bought. We had to undo everything.
This took a some time and we had to guard against credits being spent which should not be. That is why blogs were suspended.
There was one person who started this by buying all those credits. They are not allowed back (and no, we will not be saying who they are).
We are also looking at other people who have bought credits and then claimed them back. They too will not be allowed back.
We think we have everything sorted out now and your logins should work. If they don’t please just get back to us and we will fix things for you. (Do say what login you are using and what any error message says please)
