I noticed the lack of posting recently, so I decided to make this post so EVERYONE could get involved and help me write it.

Chapter 1. What “is” a Nacho?

 

Nachos, as defined by dictionary.com, are “a snack or appetizer consisting of a small piece of tortilla topped with cheese, hot peppers, etc., and broiled.” This definition is essentially what the Nachos of Club Penguin are, a fun thing to do in between your day between your daily activities and such (a.k.a an appetizer).

Nachos, throughout the history of Club Penguin Warfare, were a ragtag group a friends who would go on Club Penguin and generally cause havoc and mischief, a counter to the Army of Club Penguin’s style of leading which was to preserve justice. No matter how many enemies we would be facing at once, the Nachos always based themselves around superior tactics and thinking to get themselves out of sticky situations. The Nachos also based themselves around becoming friends with one-another, which paid off in the long run for when orders were given, as Nachos would carry them out efficiently and effectivley. Indeed, the Nachos were/are the elite in a noob-run Club Penguin.

2. Joining the Nachos

It seems easy enough; go to the Join page and fill out the necessary requirements. Most people mistake the Join page as something that no one will look over. In actuality, this is what happens: You post a join comment, we moderate it until our person in charge of the ranks comes by and looks at it (in detail), then we place you in the area where we think you will do the best in, be it member or moderator.

What is your Club Penguin name?

-An essential part of joining, we need to know who you are in order to see where you are in Club Penguin, doing what against or for other armies.

Have you ever made or been in a Club Penguin army before?

-This is usually the ultimate decision for us in where to rank you. If you just joined Club Penguin and don’t know anything about armies, we will put you at a low rank to start the Nacho-Patented “De-Noobification Process”

If you have been in a CP army before, what was/is your rank in that army and what army?

-This question compliments the one above it nicely, because we do not rank you by the number of armies you have joined. We look the the armies that you have joined and see what ranks you were in each of them to determine your experience rating.

How did you find this site?

-We often use the answer of this question to determine where we should focus our recruiting efforts in. If you came from a YouTube video, we will start making more videos. If you came from Club Penguin, we will send out a group of people to go and recruit.

Do you promise to actually visit this site and attend scheduled events?

-We need to know if you are going to be loyal to the Nacho cause. If you do not come on to chat or read the site, you will most likely be fired or demoted.

What country do you live in?

-We really only need this question in case you need to be put into the Nacho European Division.

 

This is just a basic overview of joining the Nachos. Other editors please edit this in case you have something to say.

3. Chat

 

The Nacho Chatbox is the second most important thing you must do once you become a regular Nacho, preceded by getting on Club Penguin and followed by reading the site. The chatbox is where everything happens;  friendships, comradery, and where orders are given out to the people on Club Penguin. Being on chat reguraly improves your chances of promotion by at least 50%, as then we know you are an active Nacho. On chat, you can also receive tips and tricks on how to better yourself as a Nacho in general. Thing to know about chat:

Main Owners

-The leaders of the army are the main owners. They run the army and make sure everything goes according to plan. Notable Main Owners: Ads, and Billy Mays.

Owners

-Pretty much the main owners in training. They are in charge of keeping order on the chat and making sure all of the chat rules are followed. Notable Owners: Pie, Aka, Cobra, and Joker.

Moderators

-This group of people are the ones in charge of keeping the large amount of members under control, just as the owners are in charge of keeping the moderators under control. You have become a distinguished Nacho once you have become a Moderator. Notable Moderators: Folay, Meadow, and most retirees.

Members

-The backbone of the entire army, and the largest group on the Nacho chatbox. These are the Nacho recruits and need to work a little bit to be known amongst the Nachos. No notable members since there are too many to name.

Guests

-When a chat is reset, the moderators and owners need to member the guests due to the fact that the Nachos guest enemies so they can’t read the chat. Being a guest isn’t fun either, because it’s also what the Nachos do the unruly Nachos to give them time to think about their actions.

Banned/Banished

-The most annoying of Nachos get banned. Don’t get banned and you will be ok 🙂

 

4. Your Name

 

On chat, it is important to distinguish yourself with a name that everyone will know you by. Don’t name yourself after your penguin on Club Penguin, unless it really is something creative and original. Come up with a instantly recognizable name that would make sense if it was put into Club Penguin Army Central (a.k.a CP Warfare’s Newspaper).

A short name that can fit into the user list without having to be clicked on is often the best kind of name you can have. Although we do allow it, please refrain from putting 600 smilies in your name, as they may have the chance to lag some users on the chat, and it also interfere’s with Aka’s pacemaker.

Choose a good picture for yourself to fit your name. Any name that paints a mental picture of someone is good, but you will need a picture to support your online identity. Please don’t use the XAT Icons, as you will most often be deemed as a noob.

I would prefer having a photobucket account due to xat using the site to upload pics to your profile in a separate page.

Epilogue

In the end, all that really matters in the Nachos is getting on Club Penguin, following orders, and making sure that you make some friends on the side to cheer you on to your cause. I myself have made friends in the Nachos that have been my friends for around 4-5 years now. But enough about me. This is your story, Nacho recruits. How you write it is up to you.

I’m Lieut. Josh, and I read the most recent post “How to be a Good Nacho” or whatever. I saw how the Nachos started out as a “ragtag group of friends” and it got me thinking. Is that what the Nachos are like now? Do we fight for fun and really think about why the Nacho Army was created in the first place, or do we fight to win and defeat enemies like ACP? Winning isn’t bad, it’s just that we should really consider the origins of the Nacho Army. Would its founders be happy of where it is today, or would they be disappointed that it’s lost its real point? The real point was having a hell of a good time, laughing with friends, and making ACP mad, just for fun. But what’s it turned to now? On chat, leaders are screaming at new recruits and others to get them to attack ACP or do what they want, which isn’t fair. Why should we care if we lose a few battles to ACP? The whole point of these armies is fun, right? Besides, we know we’re better than ACP anyway. Hell, this site has sometimes up to 4,000 views at a time when ACP has 20. Yes, 20. We already KNOW we’re better, so why do we have to give up fun and friends to get…even better? We’re good as is. Remember the awesome past leaders and crazy fun times, and that’s the Nachos for you. Let’s keep it that way.
