The “Rules Of Warfare” (They Mean Nothing)

Note: Dont forget the invasion of Mountain server on Saturday! Read the post below this one for details.

Hello everyone it’s the Nachos Co-Leader 50 Cent 254.  This post is aimed toward CPAC, Major Army Leaders, the army council, etc.  Today I’m going to teach you all a lesson about how to run a Government in which most army leaders don’t know about.

An Army Council (something which I once supported) is a huge mistake.  Rules in armies mean absolutely nothing if you don’t have power and fear behind them.  For example, lets say ACP (the most powerful army at the moment) refuses to follow the rules this council has passed and ends up being destructive, what is the council going to do about it?  If every army in the council decides to go to war over it (which I doubt they’ll all unite together due to alliances) then you’ve just solved world peace within Club Penguin Armies which is not what we are aiming toward.  Even if the miracle of every army uniting to take down ACP happenes in this situation then all this council has done is create a huge friendly alliance.  And if that were not to happen then how are you going to punish ACP?  You can’t.

My point is that rules are just words.  Words mean absolutely nothing if you don’t have people willing to enforce them and citizens willing to follow them.  This is why the only actual law in armies that’s consistently been successful is the 24 hour rule.  That is because so many people agree with it and enforce it.  Laws such as the Bot Bill & the 12 server rule, etc have failed due to lack of agreement and enforcement, or just starting a huge alliance over it.  I never have actually seen the 12 server rule enforced knowing that numerous armies claim to own 20+ servers.  I’ve also never seen the bot bill enforced seeing that everybody from Saw to Wwebestfan who has broken it has not been punished.  These councils are a mess.

Rules within armies work perfectly though foreign rules (councils) are simply a mess.  The only foreign rules that work are not organized rules.  They are rules through fear & power.  If an army does something that’s “not classy” it is your job to punish them for it rather than hope a couple of words will save the day.  If an army tries to mess with ACP for example they know they’ll get their ass kicked and that’s how fear is used to intimidate.  Crying to mommy (laws) fail when it comes to punishing though power/size within an army work perfectly.  I also don’t like how the media is assembling this council.  It’s like Fox News trying to start up a government, just not a good idea.  Skloop and CPAC have to much power.  Everyone listens to Club Penguin Army Central.  They take it literally not realizing that the media is generally opinion based.

CPAC and Sklooperis alone have the power to host virtually every  tournament, make or break an army, decide the outcome of wars, and now create laws.  Me along with many others have been concerned for awhile now about the influence of the media on armies.  They pretty much run Club Penguin Warfare and it’s going to get to a point where they abuse it (if they haven’t yet).  So I hope the people will stop them before it’s to late.

Now for a basic summary of what I just said:

Most council rules are ridicoulous, never enforce laws, and just end up creating huge alliances.  War does not have any rules.

The only time a council is acceptable is a temporary council due to an army being destructive.

All the stupid laws (other than the 24 hour rule) that council’s have created should be abolished and instead rules should be enforced by the amount of power each army has.

CPAC and Sklooperis have to much power.  The media has more of an influence on troops than it should.

  1. FIRST!!!!!! 😀

  2. Can I haz a tl;dr?

  3. Hopefully the council ends up being abolished.

  4. I agree for the most part on these points; however, there a few things.

Foremost, the council COULD be good if only we did it RIGHT. The last two councils we have made (the ANTA and first CPAC) were ran by either one individual or one army, which obviously leads to problems. The last two attempts were hijacked by ACP.

Now, the ACP do not even want to be part of this (perhaps because they have learned from the past, or they think if they politically maneuver the whole thing thinking they could do whatever they want, which is invalid and will bite them later). If you research history, every single time someone has talked about creating a council, they end up running it.

In this case, Skloop has already brought it up and has his staff create and moderate meetings. That already tells you that they have the power behind the whole thing. they also determined who is invited into the council and who isn’t.

My point is, if we want this council to work, there must be no LEADER for it. All it should be is just a bunch of people who meet up to discuss problems (or ideas) and resolve them democratically through voting. THAT’S IT. The only problems they should only go over are threats internationally like hacking, doxxing, etc. And the rules that they enforce should be self-evident.

The best thing for this new council to do is to amend its terms of use. In other words, we should apply certain limitations on how they operate. For example, if they all want to go to war against one army, it should be negated: No Alliances. They should all be neutral observers to EVERY conflict that arises and democratically choose. Then let the governed deal with it as they see fit. We as the governed should have accountability and responsibility to make sure they are doing their jobs.

I also agree that this council is to be made temporary and only called in times of an extraordinary crisis, trial, or considering a revolutionary idea. That’s it. We must give it a short leash or else they may nip someone.

Second, rules are a good thing, but it depends if they’re the good kind. The reason why we all hate rules is because they either favor the large armies or small armies. What we should do is create rules for each category respectively and self-evident ones for both. We cannot make it impossible for small armies to win or for large armies to lose.

Third, we should keep an eye on CPA Central. Just don’t believe everything you read. Just assume everything they report is false, and then research it by yourself to determine if it is really true.

Feel free to reply to this comment with some criticism.

    • Agreed. The only thing I don’t agree with is in 50s post. If you let armies control the rules based on power, ACP will mandate the rules for everybody, which if any 1 army controls the rules, they will abuse this power. The council is a good idea for creating and enforcing rules(should there be a way to do this) and there should 1 representative from each army, and the council should include the top 2-3 and bottom 2-3(so the ones on the brink of being larger don’t get all of the power) of each catagory(small, medium, and large). Then, the rules will be fair for all armies, small, medium, and large.

As above, feel free to reply with criticism.

    • I agree, except “Skloop and his staff” -_- No one in the staff is in the council besides Me (I was invited), Skloop, and Godplayer (Whom I invited.)

      • “Skloop and his staff” is accurate. I was referring to Skloop and you and Godplayer as his “staff.” I was not referring to ALL CPAC reporters. I merely said “staff” to respectfully refer to you and Godplayer.

Only you, Skloop, and Godplayer made posts on the CPAC blog referring to this new Club Penguin Army Council.

  5. sooo.. any volunteers to hack CPAC?? 😀

50: Were not gonna hack CPAC.

  6. Ima go nuke ACP, anyone wanna join me? 😀

  7. why is acp on our allies list

  8. I agree with this post, but I don’t think the Council’s only goal is to create rules to restrict warfare. That probably would start happening if Council meetings were held regularly instead of scheduled whenever there’s a big issue to resolve.

  9. Guys, we are not blaming ACP. I was just using ACP as an example of a powerful army.

  10. *Cough* already said this on IW site a billion times *cough*

  11. Great speech, but the last sentence raised a question: Are we trying to overthrow the CPAC to nothing, or just tell them they need to do a better job?

  12. Finally someone with leverage notices the power CPAC has. I’ve noticed this but since I am but a lowly member rank with no leverage. I felt I couldn’t do anything about it. I aplaud you sir, I agree with everything in that speech.

  13. Unfortunately, you can’t solve anything if ACP isn’t going to cooperate. How are you going to get anything done and regulated across warfare if the largest army refuses to listen? It simply cannot be done. You can try whatever you want, ignore ACP a much as you like, but without ACP’s help, nothing will get done. ACP used to create problems by offering too much help. Now, they are creating more problems because of their lack of help.
