• Welcome

Welcome to the Nachos! We were one of the most powerful and legendary armies in all of Club Penguin. Known for our fun and enjoyable atmosphere, we're always having a good time! Due to Club Penguin shutting down, the army is mostly inactive. However, our older members tend to keep in touch using discord. You can join using the following link.

Reconstruction

Hola Nachos!

Over the last few weeks, our performances have not lived up to the usual Nacho standards. It’s time for all of us to get back on track and become more active in the Nachos. If we want to be on the top again and the best army in Club Penguin, we must all contribute as best as we can. We are very capable of doing so as we have already well-proven. We must keep pushing forward, and we will once again be where we want and should be.

Recruiting Sessions: In order to increase activity and to regain our size, we have already scheduled multiple events including two for this weekend. We plan to have mass recruiting sessions on Club Penguin during these times. Recruiting is vital to the army, and it is very needed right now. We’ll need everyone there to contribute especially if you want the Nachos to be the best once again.

Medal System: Yes, we are bringing the medal system back once again, but it is for the better. The medals will be more significant this time as it will relate to how we actually do the promotions at the end of the month. You must earn a certain number of medals and attend a certain number of events in order to be eligible to receive a promotion in the Nachos.

Ways to earn medals:

  • Important Battles: 5 medals
  • Battle/Event of 40+ Nachos: 5 medals
  • Battle/Event of 30+ Nachos: 4 medals
  • Battle/Event of 25+ Nachos: 3 medals
  • Battle/Event of 20+ Nachos: 2 medals
  • Battle/Event of 15+ Nachos: 1 medal
  • Comment on Battle/Event Information Posts: 2 medals
  • Recruit 10+ people and have them comment on join page: 5 medals
  • Recruit 5+ people and have them comment on join page: 3 medals
  • Contest Winner: 3 medals

Member ranks will need to attend at least 7 events and earn 50 medals in order to be eligible for a promotion.

Mod ranks will need to attend at least 10 events and earn 70 medals in order to be eligible for a promotion.

If you are a bit confused, I’ll make another post all about this new system probably later tonight or tomorrow. This system will go into effect on October 1st.

These are the major steps that we’ll take as of now to get back to where we need to be. We’ll get few other ideas started here soon as well. If you have any ideas that you’d like to share feel free to comment. Also, if you have another idea for a name for the ‘medals’ please comment too! 😀

We don’t march to the beat of drums, we hear maracas!

  1. I agree that we need to get our sizes back up and I think medals can help but we should have some way to keep track of everyone’s medals like a medals page that keeps a running total of how many medals each person has and can only be updated by owners so that way people can’t lie about how many medals they have.

  2. I think you should lower the number of events needed to get a promotion for GMT/AUS troops, as it would be much harder for them to go to weekday events.

  3. Good idea. But people might lie about how many they have.

  4. Nice idea Puck, but 70 medals is tough for GMT, since…..
    1. I can’t make to half of the battles during week-days since I have school the next day and most of them are scheduled for USA times.
    2. Based on the sizes of our current events, getting over 20 medals will be like a challenge. We average around 20 on CP, and that only gives us 2 medals. 70/2=50 events we will have to participate in. That is 5 times more than expected. I think you are a bit too strict and the medals should definitely be lowered, since we are getting so little medals in return for events,I like ACP’s 30 medals for members and maybe for me and mods you could bump it up to 35-40.
That is my opinion. Thanks Puckley.

  5. Great Idea! I hope that will consider more people to join and to be active! 🙂

  6. Name the medals peppers

  7. Hopefully the Nachos will rise so we won’t have a hard time getting medals, but I still think the numbers should be lowered a little bit.

  8. but im so lazy
why not make me leader anyway

  9. You guys need to stop whining about the number of events for a promo. 7, and 10 are perfectly fine. I’m sure Nachos can make at least 7-10 UK events within a month.

    • Not really, usually the only UK friendly ones in a week are on a Saturday -it’s not often that there’s Sunday ones. So that’s only about 4.

  10. Nice idea Puck. 🙂

  11. well im stuck at private for five months cos theres nesver uk events like four a month
