Hola Nachos!

Right now, we have the largest army in Club Penguin.  We have been at the top of the rankings for weeks now, and we have consistently been able to reach 40+ for about a month including a 50+ performance last Saturday. Other armies are always looking for an advantage to pass the army that is on top.  It’s a never-ending fight in a way.  With Club Penguin releasing its new party, other armies will try to exploit it for their benefit to gain advantage over us.  We aren’t just going to roll over and let these armies pass us.  We need to maintain what we have as well as improve and expand in all areas.  If we’re able to do that, the fun and excitement of being the best of the best will continue! 😀

We have a few days between our next event, so it’s a perfect time to recruit, especially with the new party out.  With a new party, the activity and number or people always increases, so it’s not a bad idea to try to recruit on Club Penguin.  Our philosophy is that the truly best recruits do come from Club Penguin itself.  It’s tedious work, but it will have the most long-term effect for the Nachos.  If you can gather a group of Nachos and go on Club Penguin to recruit a bit, great!  It will greatly help the Nachos, and it will definitely help you get a promotion too!

The other way of recruiting is, of course, chat recruiting.  This is what the majority of other armies try to do.  The immediate impact of chat recruiting can be effective, but the end result for long-term is deadly (e.g. SWAT, LT, DW, AR, etc, etc.).  For that reason, we usually abstain from it.  However, we are in a different situation where our size is already large, so chat recruiting would be an effective way for us to recruit this time around.

Recruiting is obviously the key way to increase in size as well as to maintain it.  Even if we recruit just a little bit, it will be very effective.  If you have some time or if you’re bored just sitting on chat, try to recruit a bit with some friends for the Nachos. 😉  Recruiting now will greatly help us for events this weekend including our championship battle!  If we recruit properly, we could possibly reach 70+ on Club Penguin!  Crazy, right?

If you want to try the chat recruiting route, I’ll give you a few tips to help you out.

First off, here’s a list of chats that work well for recruiting:

• xat.com/riffy888
• xat.com/monchocho
• xat.com/SleetCPCP
• xat.com/tokyopalace
• xat.com/SpotCP

Next, here’s a good step-by-step process to use: (yeah, thanks AR :wink:)

1. Go to one of those chats listed or a club penguin chat you know about.
2. Look for unregistered members or guests. (Users without stars or signs on their pawns)
3. Click on their user, then press “Private Chat.”
4. Start off with some simple words such as “Hello,” “Hey,” “Hi,” or other words.
5. Either after they respond, or before, ask them this question. “Do you play CP?”
6. Wait for them to say “Yes.” If they say “No,” move on and find another user and start over.
7. If they said “Yes,” ask them this question: “Wanna join a fun, cool, and elite CP army?” You can change some of the wording if you want, but make sure it is positive and not pushy.
8. If they say “Yes,” tell them this: “Go to xat.com/nachosarmyofcp to join!” 

It’s a pretty quick process that shouldn’t take too long.  Once you get them to Nacho chat, you can help them personally to make sure they leave a comment on the Join Page and to fill them in on what do to, or you can just direct them to an owner on chat.

That’s about it really.  If you have some time to recruit, great!  It could help us to reach another Golden Age!  Imagine 70+ Nachos on Club Penguin in a battle!  That would be a sight to see!  Whatever you can do to help Nachos is great and all we ask is for you to do what you can! 😀
