Fjord Tactics Session Results

UK EVENT

Hola Monchachos!

We had a good tactics session today, as planned, and although not that many people turned up, it was nice and relaxed and we managed to pull off some pretty good tactics! We maxed 11 and averaged 7, which isn’t great considering some of the sizes we’ve been having recently, but I think this week has been a bad week for UK soldiers all over the community, and I don’t think I advertised the event today as much as I probably should have done!

A very good event nevertheless! Read on for pictures!

Hmmm. What do I do in this bit? I can’t really do battle analysis, because it wasn’t a battle. Since it was a tactics session I can’t really describe what went on, we pretty much logged on and did it 😛 I mean, the only significant thing we really did was to charge the snow forts at one point but that isn’t much to talk about.

Well, I can talk about one of the ways I was trying to run the tactics session, and that is rewarding if a tactic is good by moving on to a new tactic and doing something better, or making us do the same tactic again if we didn’t do it right. For example, at the start I ordered E+1 in line, and only 3 people did it in sync and so I ordered it again and hey presto, we had a perfect tactic! I think tactics sessions should be run more like drills in the real army rather than like doing a battle, with no enemy. Just my opinion, anyway.

Okay, there really is nothing else to talk about, except I want to give Ace fireken, Ryan, Happyfeet, Izzie300, Rose, Klinkguin and GJK a special mention, seeing as this was a reasonably low attendance event. If you think I should have mentioned you and left you out, comment saying it!! I might have forgotten about you and how hard you worked during the battle and I don’t want that at all.

Without further ado, I’ll put in the pictures! Oh my gawsh! I think my post is going to be under 500 words *huge gasp from audience*

Actually, I won’t bother putting captions underneath each pictures because I’ve come to the conclusion that everyone can see, so they don’t need me to tell them what’s going on xD, and it creates more work para mi. I just want to see that that E+T charge was spectacular, and in the E+H and E+G tactics (Games and Hearts) there’s one guy not doing them, and he lagged out of chat so in actual fact they’re perfect tactics too!

That’s all for now! Make sure more of you attend events in the future!
