[The Alpine UK event that was already posted.]

Hola Nachos!

Yesterday, we had a mass recruiting session on Alpine which overall, I think went very well! The aim of the game here was to get as many penguins from Club Penguin to be aware of the Nachos and to want to find out more and eventually visit our site. Although it’s not easy to successfully do this on Club Penguin anymore, because it seems that the staff have been slightly implying that we will be punished for doing so, standing in a circle, chanting our name and getting penguins to join in the fun isn’t strictly breaking any rules, so when it comes to that, we’ll be absolutely fine.

Our size was pretty good, and we reached a maximum of 30+. I think we could have done better, however, as results from the poll that I released earlier last week show that over 60 Nachos weren’t back at school while the event was taking place, and considering about 1/3 of the army miss events, we could have done a lot better. I think part of the problem here is that events taking place at evening UK hours seem to USA troops like UK only events, and that they do not attend. What these troops must remember is that if they don’t attend these events our entire army will do worse that week, not have as much size, and fundamentally, these troops will not receive promotion.

And for UK troops that may not be attending these battles, you must remember that these events at UK evening hours are the only events now that you can gain promotion from, seeing as the rest of the army will start to split into USA events. After our amazing recruiting drive over the summer we’ve gained a lot of troops, and a large portion of them have been from the UK, so there is no excuse for us ever dropping to sizes as low as 15. If this does happen, I’ll let it known that I for one will not be very happy.

However, on a brighter note, I think this event went really very well and the general attitude of the troops was good, with people mostly listening to orders. Some are getting into the habit of not doing tactics and trying to appear tired in order to get off of Club Penguin earlier, and this state of mind must also stop. Most are carrying out tactics successfully and I’m pleased with the performance of this combined division. It’s a confusing time for the troops who have to follow orders and different owners and stuff, I know, but you have to keep faith and keep on having fun! 😀
