Hola Nachos!

With the end of the summer, it is a great time to recollect on the successful summer that we have had.  This summer that we have shared and created together has certainly been one of the best summers ever experienced by the Nacho Army.  From the huge sizes that we reached to the great victories that we achieved during our countless wars, all of it could not have happened without you, our amazing troops.  What we were able to achieve and do day in and day out truly is amazing and something that no other army has done in a very long time. For that, you should all feel very proud of yourselves.  Together, we have transformed this generation and era into a Golden Age, not only for us, but also for the community as a whole as we led the charge.  Beyond any doubt, we have created history this summer along with priceless memories that we will never forget for as long as we live.

As the first eight months of the year have come and gone, we look forward to these final four months and to make them just as bright as the months prior.  Before we move on, a final, special thanks to our wonderful troops who have made this first half of the year as successful as it as been.  Every single one of you have contributed to the glory and triumph that we have attained together, but along the way a few certain troops and a few certain moments stood out along the way that we’d like to recognize. War of the Summer

Since the beginning of the year, the Nacho Army has turned itself into a war machine.  Through our countless number of wars and battles, we have proven our dominance as an army who not only can maintain phenomenal sizes but as an army who can also endure the adversity of war and ultimately come out victorious.   We became a war machine of mass destruction where our great victories over our enemies left catastrophic outcomes on our enemies, including the Dark Warriors, SWAT, the Army of Club Penguin, the Hot Sauce Army, and lastly, the Rebel Penguin Federation.  From this, the phrase “mess with the best, die like the rest” was generated, and we have certainly lived up to that.  Each war this year (along with some great tournaments thrown in there) was definitely great and unique in its own way, but one war in particular definitely stood out, one that was probably one of the most difficult wars we fought, but also one of our very best.  The War of the Summer belongs to…

Best News Site of the Summer

I think we all know the result of this award already, but this category mainly serves to recognize the great work of The Stale Nacho.  As you know, TSN really took off this summer becoming the best source of satire in the entire community.  It instantly became a hit within the Nachos as well as with the entire community later with its hilarious posts that everybody enjoyed so much.  Led by the team of Buck, Hades, and Shiver, they brought us great posts that always gave everyone a great laugh.  TSN definitely brought to life the typical humor that is now expected from the Nachos which undoubtedly made things much funnier and more fun in the Nacho Army.  Additionally, The Stale Nacho served a key role in our war with the RPF over the summer which definitely helped to boost morale and to get us through that long war.  Just in the course of the summer, TSN has become one of people’s favorite websites found in the community.  Congratulations TSN on your great success, and we all look forward to the great things that you’ll continue to offer.

Comedian of the Summer

The Nachos are certainly known for many things including being the funniest army in Club Penguin.  Without a doubt, we certainly have some great comedians in the army that are always giving us a good laugh.  The humor that we share in this army definitely makes us unique, and one of the many reasons that make the Nachos so much fun.  The final results came down to the very end with a very close race between the top two with the winner only winning by two votes.  With winning the overall vote, the Comedian of the Summer award belongs to…

Retiree of the Summer

We’ve been quite lucky this year when you think about it in the terms of the number of retirements that we have had so far, and  it could be one of the many reasons for the great success that we have experienced this year.  The biggest retirement was by far when our great leader Edd64 announced his retirement a few weeks ago.  Without further ado, we give this award to Edd as a sign of our thanks for all the great contributions that he made to the Nacho Army.

Member Rank of the Summer

Personally, for me, this was one of the hardest polls to vote on considering how many great member ranks that we have in this army.  If I had it my way, I would have given this award to literally every single one of our great member rank troops.  We had over 20 people nominated for this award, but there was still another 40+ that was just as deserving.  Many of you probably joined a few months ago unknowingly that you’d be one of the key reasons for the success and second Golden Age of the Nacho Army.  If you weren’t aware of that until now, you definitely were, and we would not have become the army we were this summer without your contributions.  I, for one, definitely look forward to seeing you all continue to rise through the ranks, and one day becoming the leaders of this glorious army.  With many deserving, still, one soldier stood out in the eyes of his peers. Similarly, this was another poll that was very difficult to vote on.  Every person in this army is just as an important, and our moderators are definitely no exception to that.  Becoming a mod is an accomplishment in itself meaning you have already proven your loyalty and dedication to the Nacho Army as well as emerging as some of the best soldiers that we have in the army.  We really do rely on you to lead by example otherwise the army would definitely not function properly, and your contributions also made a huge impact to making this Golden Age what it is.  I’ve seen all of you rise through the rankings, and I can’t wait for you to take the next step in the Nachos in the future.  As for the winner. the award goes to…

Owner Rank of the Summer

Our owners are another key reason for the overall success of the army. We certainly have some great owners, definitely the best in all of the armies.  Every one of them has done a great job in helping lead this army to its great success and again could not have been done without them either. In my opinion, all four of the leaders deserve the award for Leader of the Summer.  We were a team, and we definitely could not have done what we have achieved without each other.  Together, we led this army to greatness, and I don’t believe it would have been possible if a single piece was missing.  In the end, only one could receive the award unfortunately.  As for the winner, I’m sure he is very grateful and honored to be voted to receive such an award by his peers. Congratulations to all of the winners!  Really, every single soldier of this glorious deserves an award for being the greatest soldiers a leader could ever ask for.  We have achieved so much so far this year, and I honestly cannot say it enough how proud I am of everyone, and how much the reason for our success is just from everyone being there for each other and working together.  Although the summer is now finished, I’m looking forward to keeping this Golden Age bright and strong into the final months of the year.  Just as we started the first 8 months together, we will finish the last four together.
