Welcome to the Nachos! We were one of the most powerful and legendary armies in all of Club Penguin. Known for our fun and enjoyable atmosphere, we're always having a good time! Due to Club Penguin shutting down, the army is mostly inactive. However, our older members tend to keep in touch using discord. You can join using the following link.

Know Your Place

Hola,

After a very extensive period of conflict, we’ve reached that time again. The rebuilding stage. It’s probably the most important of all stages, but you and I both know how much of a grind it can be. However, I know that we can replicate that golden age that seems so long ago, and hell, I think we can even surpass that. But I can’t do this alone. I need all of you to bear down, and help each other get through these sub-par times. We can, and we will persevere, just like always. Our organization has been troubling my mind lately, and though there are solutions, it requires everybody to be on the same page. The moderator ranks in particular have not been well defined, and that’s partly my fault. Here’s what every class should be focusing on during an event [and beyond]:

Owners: You guys need to set the example. You’re our future, and you need to act like it. Unfortunately, as fun as it may be, you really aren’t allowed to be a jackass if and when you hold this position. I’m not sure which of you did it, but a notoriously known perpetrator was modded early yesterday morning,  who proceeded to guest and ban every member he came across. That’s a jackass move, and unless your principle goal is to drive our troops away, that should never happen. All of you are great leaders, and in the absence of a primary leader, you guys are next in line. It also wouldn’t hurt to not be afk on chat during an event, either. There have been multiple instances over the months where a leader has been ripped offline due to connection issues, and nobody would fill in for him, leaving everybody in a state of confusion. That’s not being a jackass, that’s just not upholding your duty, and it once again should never happen. Moreover, Aside from Cool, 50, and Chrisi, all of the posts from the past few weeks have been written by the leaders. You are allowed to make events, and post the results; that’s an obvious perk to being promoted to this position. Same goes for site maintenance. You’re all editors, why not use that to your advantage? You’re allowed to approve join comments, add those people to the ranks etc. Just don’t touch the medals. I already called them. Just one more request: Be active.

Moderators: Ah, the moderator position. The puberty phase of Club Penguin armies; a very wonderful thing. Mods, you have but one overarching job to do, yet it generally goes neglected and unheeded. What’s this job I speak of? Monitoring the chat, and enforcing the rules [Which we have. Shocking, I know]. Look guys, I’m not asking for much, I just need you all to make sure these rules get upheld:

The offenses that violate these rules do not welcome our new recruits, and without new recruits, what are we? An army without new recruits, that’s what [it’s a very bad situation. And we must try to avoid it at all costs]. It also increases the risk of our chat getting delisted, and Puck doesn’t enjoy being called in to fix it for us. If you see a member breaching these guidelines, utilize your convenient mod abilities. But don’t abuse them, because there are [and will be] consequences. I’ve also seen people engaging in side conversations during events, and it’s getting excessive and painfully recurring. Instead of adding to that problem by reiterating what a leader/owner just said, PC the chatterbox asking them to quiet down. There has been situations where tactics were issued, but a huge delay diluted the effect because the order was halfway up the page! Oh, and another thing: Be active.

Members: Your job is very simple. Come to events, and rank up. I’ve seen a rather large decrease of members on our chat lately, which isn’t good. You should be observing your owner ranks, and to an extent, mimic their leading styles. You all are going to need medals in order to get promoted, and many of you are either not on the page, or have a very low amount [I’ll get to that in a minute]. Nobody is stopping you from logging onto one of our servers, grabbing a few friends, and recruiting more people for our army. We need you with us. Above all else, you just need to make sure of one other thing: Be active.

Moving forward, it’s all going to come down to how much you guys want to work and improve.

Medals: If you’re active, you would have noticed that the medals page is horribly outdated, and I apologize for that. It will be refreshed by tomorrow, and I’ll hopefully have added everybody who earned medals over two weeks.

At the time of this writing, our important practice battle with RPF is nearly one hour away. I cannot stress how indispensable this event is. As you may have noticed, promotions will be given out to all who attended IF we reach 35+. I know we can do it, Nachos, but I need all of you on my side.

We ask that you try your very best to remain as active as you can in the Nachos.  It has certainly been an amazing and very fun year thus far in the Nachos, and I know we definitely don’t want that to end anytime soon!  If we wish to reclaim our dominance and success,  and to truly make this year our year, we must not become inactive.  We need to stay active, so that we can continue to have fun and win! The success of this glorious army is reliant on each other and everyone being active to the best of their capability.   Your fellow troops are relying on you because they need you.  In order to be that invincible army, everyone is needed to work together and function at a high level. Let’s get back to doing what we do.

  1. “Aside from Cool, 50, and Chrisi, all of the posts from the past few weeks have been written by the leaders” Honestly, I’ve probably posted 3 times at the most this month, which is really bad, and it’s quite sad that there are owners who have posted less than me. Posts are THE most important factor on how well an army does.

  2. And also, Beeky, YOU CAN’T JUST CHOOSE TO EXEMPT RULE 5 FROM THAT LIST. IT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT!

  3. this post basically read my mind

  4. I always try to uphold the chat rules, and when i do almost everyone just says “abuse” or “no one cares about the rules”, and then i get demoted. : /

  5. I’ll always stick by my role. (:
    Go Nachos!

  6. Nachos, I’ve been grounded, and I’m just saying, please dont demote me if I’m inactive a little bit
