So, the other day this post was posted on CPAC, here is a link. It was written by the controversial Waterkid100. Within the post Waterkid questioned the state of armies in 2012, and how it relates to their current situation. In my personal opinion, armies were not in dire straits in 2012. Or at least from a Nacho perspective, we were the most dominant army of the year.
Waterkid then proceeded to label armies as ‘Good guys’, ‘Bad guys’ and ‘Neutral[s]’. The idea of labelling armies any of these is something that could be considered almost impossible. However, imaging that it was possible, it presents us with a large amount of disappointment and anger in Waterkids’ opinion on where we stand in our morals. Waterkid labelled us a one of the ‘bad guys’. I can only disagree.

The Nachos are not one of the bad guys, but neither are we one of the good guys. We could be considered neutral, but then there is more to us than simply being on the borderline.
Recently there was an internet phenomena where various things would be labelled as either ‘Lawful’ ‘Neutral’ or ‘Chaotic’ and then have ‘Good’ ‘Neutral’ and ‘Evil’ thrown on the end, depending on their morals. Like this;

And there really is only one phrase on their that could be used to describe us, the Nachos. We are the epitome of ‘Chaotic Neutral’. To use an ever reliable source to give us a definition of what being a ‘Chaotic Neutral’ entails, here is an extract from the urban dictionary;
Chaotic Neutral is freedom from both society’s restrictions and a do-gooder’s zeal.
Chaotic neutral characters follow their whims. They are individualists first and last. They value their own liberty but do not strive to protect the freedom of others. They avoid authority, resent restrictions, and challenge traditions. Chaotic neutral characters don’t intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy.
This describes us almost perfectly. As Nachos we pride ourselves on our absolute autonomy, our uniqueness from the monotonous drone of every other army that seem to be exactly the same as each other, and tendency to carry out seemingly random actions.
The only phrase that would not necessarily apply to the Nachos is idea that we ‘challenge traditions’. While we are not an army to languish in the depths of outdated practices, we are still open to evolution, we are an army who values our traditions. It is part of our uniqueness.
We can not be the ‘bad guys’, because there is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ that influences our actions. What influences the actions of this army is whether it is determined that the acts will be beneficial to the army in both the present and future. We truly are individualists, do not mistake this for isolationism, we are heavily influential in this community, even today, but we are not an army that heavily concerns ourselves with the well-being of our fellow armies. Naive? Maybe, but it is how we are and how we have always been.
We need to take pride in the fact that we are an army that is for ourselves, not for good, not for bad, but for ourselves. Every other army seems to be too preoccupied with being ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’.
On a side note, please don’t see this as some kind of rant. It’s simply an interesting post that I wished to write, especially since I have not written a post for a long time.

On another side note, I’ve flip flopped between 1st and 3rd person in this post, and it truly sickens me. Truly.
On another side note, I believe that’s the second longest post title that I have ever written.
On another side note, I normally add some kind of funny picture that I have seen on my internet travels here, but I haven’t seen any lately, so allow me to leave you with this GIF that summarises my opinion on Alan Pardew leaving Newcastle United.
Can I just point out that the link for that GIF is BiodegradableGrandBobcat.
On another side note, I forgot I had this saved in my bookmarks, considering the title of this post, it seems apt;

On another side note, I apologise if you’re a neckbeared and I offend you.
