The Golden Opulence Sundae, available from New York restaurant Serendipity 3. The sundae is worth $1,000 thanks to its edible golden leaf. If you find yourself in New York and want to nibble on the delights of this modest desert you’ll have to order it a whole 48 hours in advance while the ingredients are flown in from exotic locations across the earth. It was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records 2007 as the most expensive sundae.

The closest guess to the price of the sundae was Max43810 with a guess of £10,000. Sadly our joint with Legofan current-first-place man Catbury was wrong with his answer ‘money’. FINK UR SMRT DO YA???
