Because it is not Thursday or Tuesday, and after the LC we need a pick me up that isn’t alcohol, and I don’t have any ideas, I am stealing something from 2009

Hi all,
For the second year in a row, we made a very solid run in the Legends Cup, but unfortunately, we didn’t quite make it out on top today. However, before you start getting upset (which many of you already are, I understand) take a small step back. Take a good look at where we were back in May, and where we are now. We’ve accomplished so much this summer – I’ve had so much fun being able to help lead you through it, and I hope you all enjoyed the ride just as much.
The battle today was mightily close, and it was arguably our greatest performance of the entire year. Our tactics were on point, (as per usual) and though we were a little outnumbered in most rooms, we still put up some pretty great sizes. We averaged 35 and definitely got 40 multiple times today; we had to make IW earn it, that’s for sure.
As for the prizes, a post explaining how they will be given out will be up in the next few days, so be on the lookout for that. Overall, spectacular job today, throughout this tournament, and the entire summer.

I snuck onto site really quick to post this. hue hue
I understand how you all feel. Upset. Angry. Mad at CPAC. Pissed at IW. Disappointed. I feel all of it. You all came today to fight hard and long. You did that beautifully. I have been a Nacho for nearly 7 years. I’ve seen low points, and I’ve seen points that we have surpassed that no one knew was possible.
A few months ago, we were nearly dead. Maxing EIGHT at a US event. Do you know how pathetic that is? Maxing 8 as one of the most historic armies in CP warfare? It’s very pathetic. But we didn’t let that beat us. We got up. We clawed to the surface. We broke through, and climbed up. Hell, we soared through the air. We came back and entered the Legends Cup.
We beat the Dark Warriors, the number one army on CPAC’s Top 10 at the time. After we were finished with them, we crushed the Light Troops, also a high ranking army on CPAC’s Top 10. We had doubters. But we were dreamers. We didn’t listen. Nearly everyone brushed us off in the Legends Cup. “Oh, the Nachos have no shot! Look at how shitty THEY are!” That’s what they said about us. But we were NOT fazed, not in the slightest.
We arrived at the finals of the Legends Cup to face the Ice Warriors. We all knew it would be an extremely tough battle. We all knew what we had to do to win. But we still fell short.
But, I ask all of you to not be disappointed. You are all wonderful soldiers and great people. The Nachos have been my home for a long, long time. You all fought hard and have made not only me, but everyone proud. We shocked the whole damn world. No one expected us to make it as far as we did.
I would like to thank all of you, from the owners, to the privates of this armies. All of you have contributed greatly to the success that we have been cherished with. Without all of you, we would not be here.
Long standing Nacho veteran, Thex478.

This freak is a complete joke around here so I’m not even going to waste anymore time on this post
-Mustapha10, Colonists (didn’t drop it) leader
Thanks, Mustapha. You’ve wrecked me so hard my rectum is seeping skewed Doritos. Any ways, your reply was about.. 2 weeks overdue? We all know that Mustapha is a worthless pile of cyber-shrapnel and I would be in no way displeased if he tumbled straight into a large volcano.

Today is the most important battle of the year for us. Everything that has happened the past few weeks – the headlines we’ve made, the hard work we’ve put in, the anticipation we’ve all had, it all comes down to this. Today is the LC final battle v Ice Warriors.
I believe in us Nachos. I believe that we can do this. Let’s fix what has happened in the past. Today is our day of redemption. Today is when history is made. If we win this, we will go down in history as the underdogs who stole the show.
This will NOT be an easy battle, Nachos, but I know we can do it. We can do ANYTHING we set out minds on. We need to be fast on room changes, we need to be quick at tactics and most importantly, we have to stick together through it all. It’s time to go one step further, the final bell is ringing, now is our time.
Odds and rankings do not matter. It’s what you BELIEVE you can achieve that counts.

Since we have a really important battle today I thought that I should do a little giveaway. As most of you are aware, there has been a sudden decline in item adding in this community since the original item adder got patched back in July. Recently there has been a new method that has been unearthed which allows for the user to add items to their penguins regardless of their age. Your names will be entered into a scrambler, which will decide the 4 winners of the giveaway. I will make an edit on this post who the winners are. You must comment on the results post to be considered a candidate in this giveaway.
Things I am offering to those who do win the giveaway:
Today is really important for all of us, so I ask that you all attend todays battle if you wish to receive any of these prizes. The only condition I have on the item adder is that the people who I give it to MUST be trustworthy, or that option won’t be open to you.
Good luck to those who win.
