*This is my 100th Post on the Site! Thank you all for giving me this opportunity to be alongside you in the Nachos.

Hola Nachos!

Welcome to our “Nacho Bowl” – this is a post that will be published every Sunday (Sometimes Monday depending on if Laoise gets grounded on the Sunday.. whoops.) on our site, in order to update the troops on events and exciting things that have taken place in this great army!

The Nachos have had quite a fun week with visits from some of our old Legends! We’ve had some cool competitions, interesting polls and the re-introduction of “Movie Night” took place. As always, a new name has been put forward for Troop of the Week, along with CPAC updates & some questions for Ask the Leader.

The Nachos are also looking for a new AUS leader. To apply for this job, simply message a leader on our chat with your experience.

The Nacho Troop of the Week is the soldier we believe tried their very hardest in the army – being friendly, helping at events, being active on chat and most importantly, having fun.

Due to the fact that there are so many amazing troops in the army, it can be quite difficult to only choose one for this prize. A new troop will be chosen each week so don’t be upset if you haven’t gotten it this week as you’re always in with a chance next time!

Topaz

Congratulations Topaz! You’ve shined throughout this week with your newly earned Temp Owner spot. You’ve helped out tons at events, as well as with recruiting and being friendly towards new troops. Not only are you loyal to this army, but you also manage to make everyday fun on the chat! It’s people like you who will safeguard the Nacho’s future. Thank you.

The Nachos have retained their spot once again on the CPAC Top Ten. We’ve managed to get 8th place which, to be fair to the troops, is an OK placement. Many different posts have been published this week regarding recruiting and we hope you all  (Mods & Owners) put your very best efforts into helping us rise again for our Year of Redemption.

Thank you to everyone who attended events this week! We greatly appreciate it.

The results for the Movie/Game Night poll were published earlier on this week. In it, we got to see your opinion on what you’d like to see being introduced into the army! To read to full post please click HERE.

Due to that post, we’re going to publish a brand new poll later on today, with movie options for you to vote on. The Movie Night itself will take place this Friday at 7pm EST.

Nacho Game Night also hasn’t been forgotten about – We’re currently working on some graphics and never before seen games. More details of these events will be published Wednesday.

Everyone is welcome to attend, no matter what army you’re in! The rules on the chat will be exactly the same as our normal chat (xat.com/nachoshq). Prizes will be given out to the winners of each games & we also have a few surprises up our sleeves!.

Q. What is your opinion on Shrek?

Von: He is my Ogre-daddy. I have a shrine to him.

Q.When you found out you were leader, what was your first reaction?

Von: I was giddy.

Q. How long and how much work does it take to be a leader?

Von: Being a leader is difficult when you have no Troops. Being one is easy when you have them. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

Q. How do you like Chicken McNuggets?

Von: I hate McDonalds.

(I think it’s time for the next coup Nachos. This is unacceptable)

Q. When you became leader did you feel unprepared? if so why?

Von: I did feel a bit like a fish out of water because of a war with DCP at the end of Summer.

Q. What do you like better? Fish and chips, peas, and sauce or Fish, chips and peas, sauce?

Von: In Americaland we call it fish and fries.
