Hola Nachos! After some easy I’d say battling, having no opponents at all, we are into the tournament’s quarter finals(1/8)! But firstly, the armies left in the tournament will battle for an easy battle, having to battle in the quarter finals with one of the loser armies of an another battle of this weekend. So, we must definitely win this battle in order to have a better chance of getting to the semi finals! Please attend or if you can’t come, please recruit to cover your absence. Prizes will also be given!!!

I’ll try to make it fam ❤
A few troops have asked me about how the tournament battle works, and have expressed confusion as to what Lego is saying in the first paragraph of this post, so I will explain it here (even though no one might see this comment). This is how the tournament works:
→ The first 3 battles are called “Group Stage” battles. A Group consists of 4 teams, and the top 2 teams in each Group will move onto the quarter-finals (where it then becomes a regular bracket-style tournament).
→ Our first two battles of the tournament were free wins. We faced no opponents at all, and earned an automatic pass into the quarter-finals. So regardless of whether we win or lose this battle against the Ice Warriors, we will remain in the tournament and move on to the quarter-finals.
→ However, if we beat the Ice Warriors, our opponent in the quarter-finals will be an easier team to beat, which will give us a better chance to make it to the semi-finals. Conversely, if we lose to the Ice Warriors, our opponent in the quarter-finals will be harder to beat, which will make it harder for us to get to the semi-finals.
→ So we must win this battle not to stay in the tournament (because even if we lose we will still go to the quarter-finals), but instead to have a better chance of winning our battle in the quarter-finals (which we must win to move on to the semi-finals).
Hope that clears things up. 🙂 I’m actually really impressed with how Lego explained that in such few words, it took me a whole paragraph!
