Hola Nachos!

Every now and then, I check up on what exactly is going in Club Penguin as well as what is going to occur in the future.  While I’m looking, I am always looking for one particular thing and that is, of course, the sombrero.  It has been over three years now since the last time the sombrero and poncho were released in the Club Penguin catalog.  It was also the last time the Winter Fiesta was a party. Considering this, our favorite item is definitely long overdue for a return to the game.  Could 2013 finally be the year?

From what I’ve found, the chances seem likely, Nachos.  Club Penguin has promised in the past (soon after the sombrero was released in 2009) that all items would return to the catalog in the future.  Clearly, they have not forgotten about the sombrero’s existence and the fiesta over the last few years.  Perhaps, they even tried to satisfy our numerous requests.  As much as we love the Winter Fiesta, another party has usually been quite favorable towards us. You may have guessed it: the Music Jam.

The first Music Jam was first in 2008 where one of the free items was a pair of maracas located in the Cove (which was decorated in a way like a fiesta).  In every Music Jam, the Cove has always been decorated in the same fashion of a fiesta.  It was in 2010 that the Casa Fiesta first made its appearance on Club Penguin during the Music Jam, and it has returned to every Music Jam since then too.  If you recall from last summer, the Casa Fiesta was definitely our favorite place.  It has also become widely popular among other people who play Club Penguin which is probably the reason they keep bringing it back.

On a side note, Club Penguin has also brought back the in sombrero 2011, but it was for puffles….

Oh and another side note, they released a code late last year that was “SOMBRERO” which allowed you to get some pirate hat.

The Music Jam will most likely be returning once again this year.  It has been around ever since 2008, and it is one of Club Penguin’s most popular parties.  Also, seeing as two major Club Penguin mascot can appear during this party (The Penguin Band and Cadence), it is unlikely that it would not return.  However, all previous Music Jams have occurred more towards the summer.

I’ve known all this information that I’ve stated for a while now.  I have even been suspecting that if the sombrero would perhaps return that it would be most likely during the Music Jam based on those facts above.  Over the last few days though, I have learned and discovered a few new things which I thought were important enough to share with you all.

It is known for a fact that the party for March will the Puffle Party.  What is also known is that the party for April will most likely be another Super Hero party.  Due to Club Penguin magazines, parties for the month ahead are usually known by people beforehand.  You may recall last year that the Super Hero party took place right before the Music Jam in 2012.  Why this is important is that Club Penguin has a tendency to follow a pattern as what party follows what.  I won’t go into detail on this, but if you’d look it up you would see what I mean.  It is unknown for sure whether or not the Music Jam will take place earlier in May this year after the Super Hero party in April, but we will most likely know soon after the Puffle Party ends.

With just that information, it is usually not enough to confirm it for me as there are still many variables that could potentially change that.  However, last night I discovered another interesting clue involving the Furniture catalog.  As I stated way above, I sometimes look at what is new on Club Penguin.  I looked through the catalog and found the pinata.  Yes, the pinata. I remembered that this was an old item, but more importantly a Fiesta item….

I decided to further research the pinata and what I found out was really interesting.  According to Club Penguin Wiki, the pinata is “commonly seen during Winter Fiestas and Music Jams.”  In addition to that, I also found this…

• It was first released in the January 2008 Better Igloos catalog.
• It was re-released in the January 2009 Better Igloos catalog.
• It was released again in the March 2013 Furniture Catalog.

Considering it was released in January 2008 and 2009 means it was released prior to both Winter Fiestas in those years. Interesting, eh?  Could that really mean?  So many questions, and I wish I knew the answers to them.

As if any of this evidence may be an inkling to the sombrero returning in May is unknown at the moment.  In my personal opinion, the odds seem pretty good.  I could be hoping a bit more than thinking really, but I don’t really care.  I would just like to see it back one more time.

Imagine if it did return in a few months though, Nachos.  We are already averaging 25-30 at every event, then on weekends getting 40 or more.  Let’s just say this: Golden Age.

Time will only tell.  Hopefully, this will excite you on what the future possibly holds for us.  Whether it does it or not, we must continue exactly what we are doing right now.  For when the time does come, we will already be at a level of dominance in which we will easily level up to an  invincible status.

Hola Nachos!

We had a practice battle against the ACP today!  It was a great event especially in order to prepare for our huge battle on Saturday!  I think we were able to strike some fear into the ACP too. 😉 Intimidation is nice aspect to hold.  As for the battle, we performed very well once again!  I was hoping for a bit more size, but size was still good as we were able to reach about 30 Nachos at the most (which is good for a weekday)!  Overall, excellent job today, Nachos!  Our big battle is this Saturday against the ACP again, so we should definitely be ready now!

Hola Nachos!

We had a great raid (or more so a training session) on Breeze today!  I think we were able to reach our goal of 30 at one point too, so that’s fantastic!  What’s even more amazing is that we could have had even more!  A few people had to leave early, and a few people came on a bit later, so we might have been close to 35-40 really!  You guys are truly great, so keep up the excellent work!  We are literally rising each and every day as well as improving.  I see more and more new names each day, so things are definitely looking good for us!  I hope you all had fun today!  😀

I managed to grab one good pic of the event, so here it is!  I had some other pictures as well, but CP was doing that weird glitch when it throws people in random places on Club Penguin so those pictures are messed up.

On Wednesday, we are going to have a practice battle against the ACP!  It has been a while since we have last battled the ACP, so it will be fun to get back into fighting them once more.  We do, indeed, have another battle with the ACP later in the week on Saturday, so this battle should be great preparation for Saturday!  Although this battle is not the “real” battle, it is still a very important battle that I want you to try your best to attend.  A great performance of 40+ Nachos against ACP will instantly intimidate them, for sure! 😉

A good battle against the ACP always seems to be fun, and something that we all love.  I hope you all can make it, so you won’t miss out on the fun! 😀

Hola Nachos!

We have made it to the Final Four of the March Madness tournament!  You guys continue to perform exceptionally well and at a level that is truly unbeatable. In this round, we square off with our rivals the Army of Club Penguin, so we will need to once again bring our best performance, Nachos!  This week we will continue to improve and prepare for this round’s battle.  It will undoubtedly be another classic Nacho vs. ACP battle, so we must make sure we are ready to go.  If we plan on winning, the first step starts right now, Nachos!  When we all put in 100% dedication and hard-work, we are unstoppable! Let’s do this, Nachos! 😀

Wow, this was quite the battle! I am proud of you guys! We got our goal of 40+ Nachos, and maxing around 43 Nachos in this battle! So, hold you heads up high. We wouldn’t be here without you! So, keep up the good work, Nachos! But, I have to say, the Pirates put up quite a fight don’t you guys agree? Nice job, Pirates! Once again, great job, Nachos! Let’s keep marching on!

The day of the battle has arrived.  All week long we have waited in anticipation of this battle to come.  We have trained, we have practiced, and we have recruited in preparation.  We are more than ready for this battle, Nachos, so be confident and have faith in your fellow soldiers. Our hard-work, dedication, and preparation will pay off for us.  By the time it comes to the fight, it all comes down to execution, and everyone working together as one. When we all work together, we truly are unstoppable, Nachos.

We have already proved our dominance, Nachos, but now it’s time to show that we’re here to stay. It sure is great to be on top, is it not?  If you think it’s fun now, I can tell you we are only getting started with that. The more success we are able to achieve the more fun it will be for sure.  I know we definitely want more of that feeling that we experienced last Saturday, so let’s go out there and get it once more!  The time is now, Nachos!

1.) LOGIN TIME:

❗ PLEASE ARRIVE APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES EARLY ❗

Just as last week, it is very important that you log on early!  We need to be ready to fight by the time the battle begins!  We cannot have people logging on at the last minute before the battle starts.  We cannot waste any valuable time that would give our opponent an advantage in size or position, so make sure that YOU GET HERE EARLY!

If you log on right when the battle starts, YOU WILL GET LOCKED OUT.  I know you definitely don’t want that to happen, so please make sure to make an extra effort to log on early.

Battle Time:

• 1:30 pm Eastern
• 12:30 pm Central
• 11:30 am Mountain
• 10:30 am Pacific
• 6:30 pm United Kingdom

2.) WHAT WE MUST DO:

All of these battles are judges on three basic components: size, tactics, and consistency.

SIZE: We should have no problem reaching 40+ Nachos in today’s battle.  We were able to reach that goal last week, so there is no reason that we can’t do it again.  If anything, we should get more.  40+ is a good goal to shoot for though, and it would most definitely win us the size category.

TACTICS: We have the reputation as the army with the best tactics.  We have drilled and trained over and over on this, so tactics should not be a problem for us at all.  Just as a few reminders, be alert at all times and follow the orders given on Nacho chat.  

• When performing an emote tactic, keep doing the emote until EVERYONE does it too.
• For phrases that we type in, make sure to copy the phrase, so you can say it multiple times until (once again) EVERYONE does it too.
• Finally, when charging or doing a frenzy, make sure to keep moving until the leader stays to stop.  Don’t just move once then stop.  That’s a big no no 😉

CONSISTENCY: This is a very important category, and it is the one I tried to stress all week long.  FROM START TO END, WE MUST BE CONSISTENT.  What does that mean exactly?  We need to have excellent size and tactics consistently throughout the ENTIRE battle.  This means we all need to be focused and alert the whole time in paying attention to orders, so we have flawless tactics the whole time.  Also, this means you must stay the whole 30 minute battle (it’s really not that long at all…) – we should never decrease in size.

3.) STARTING ROOM:

Unfortunately, as we found out last battle, we cannot be in the actual battling room before the battle starts (apparently).  I would imagine that is still the case.  The battling room will be the Snow Forts, so we will either start in the Town or Plaza.  As of right now, what room for sure is unknown. I’ll let you know the hour leading up to the battle.

Since we start in another room (as will the Pirates), we will be charging into the room with the Pirates at the same time.  I point this out because it’s important that you be QUICK.  Right when the battle begins, we are charging in.

We will have a large size there for sure, and the Pirates will bring a decent size with them, so the room will most likely become full.  If the room does become full before you happen to get in, do not get worried or log off. Keep trying. Keep trying. Keep trying. It will eventually work. Trust me.

I recommend the people who are locked out to camp out in the Town and keep trying to get into the Snow Forts. If you’re in this situation, make sure to still be alert and paying attention as the judges may decide to move the battle elsewhere.

4.) BATTLE TIPS:

I showed you these tips last week, but please review them once more.  They are very important, and they will win us the battle.

• Be on Nacho Chat early, and be ready to log on 30 to 45 minutes prior to the actual battle starting.
• Listen to the leaders (owners). Do not listen to any other rank. Follow the orders given from the leaders, and carry out those orders on Club Penguin.
• Do NOT leave the room the Nachos reside in. If the Pirates are in a different room, there is NO need to see how big they are. Focus on the Nachos and what we’re doing. We are the stronger army.
• Do NOT sit on each other! Stand shoulder-to-shoulder to appear as large as possible; don’t overlap!
• If the Nachos switch rooms, YOU MUST MOVE QUICKLY. The Pirates will follow, and if you’re too slow, you may get locked out. Be alert and pay attention, so this will not happen to you.
• DO THE TACTIC UNTIL EVERYONE DOES IT. If the tactic is a phrase, it helps to copy it then paste it again.
• Do not get discouraged if you are locked out. Keep trying; it will open up!
• “It’s not over until the last man is standing.” Never ever give up.
• Above all, have fun! This is a huge battle, but we want everyone to enjoy it as well!

5) REWARDS:

Just like last week, we will once again be handing out awards since this is a very important battle.  However, if you want a reward, you must do a few things:

1. Log on early on Club Penguin and Nacho chat! (30-45 minutes early)
2. Stay on Club Penguin the ENTIRE battle! (It’s only a 30 minute battle…)
3. Follow the exact orders given from Nacho chat!

Ownership/Modship: 

• OWNERSHIP will be granted to one lucky soldier if these things happen . . .
   They fight at the battle, start to finish.
   (1 more owner) If we get 40+ soldiers.

• MODSHIP will be granted to four lucky soldiers if these things happen . . .
   They fight at the battle, start to finish.
   (3 more mods) If we win the battle.

NOTE: Awarded Modship/Ownership will last for 3 days, unless you abuse your power. If you abuse your power, we will member you instantly.
