Hola Nachos!

Tonight, we had an excellent event!  We went over a few tactics and formations that should help us for our big battle this weekend against the Ice Warriors for sure!  We were also able to try out a few formation which didn’t turn out too bad! 😉 For a Monday, we had great size reaching up to about 30 Nachos while averaging 25 throughout.  A few people had to go during the event, so our size went down towards the end.  Since it’s during the weekday that’s expected, but try your best if you can to stay the whole time especially for big battles like this weekend!

 We were able to get about 30 for a Monday, so we should have no problem getting 50+ again for the weekend in our championship battle against IW!  As always, keep up the great work, Nachos! You guys rock! 😀  I hope you had some fun today too!  Our next event will be on Wednesday where we will have a Cheese vs. Salsa practice battle!  Once again, great job today!

This was an awesome E+I waterfall where we had about 30 here now.

We attempt to make a “S” which it didn’t turn out too bad, so nice job guys! A few people had to leave, so back 25 or so here.

A few more had to leave, so we wrapped up the event by having some fun in some igloos! 😀

Hola Nachos!

With the NCAA Basketball Tournament set to begin, it’s time to start filling out your brackets!  Whether you follow college basketball or not, it’s always fun to fill out a bracket and compete against your friends.  I am creating a group on ESPN where we can all enter our own brackets then compete against each other.  You definitely do not have to join, but everyone is definitely welcome to!

If you don’t have an ESPN account already, you will need to register to be a part of our group.  Just click the register button at the top in the right corner on espn.com to do that.  Also, if you don’t want your real ESPN account to be used, feel free to make a new one by just registering another account.

The name of the group is titled “Nacho Army March Madness” if you prefer to search it instead. The group is private, so you will need a password to join.  It’s a simple password which can be found below:

MONDAY – TACTICS SESSION: COMPLETE! 

Hola Nachos!

Another great week is in the books as we now put our focus to our next challenge!  We have performed extraordinarily well over the past three weeks, and I could not be more proud of you all! 😀  As great as we have performed, we did not come this far and work this hard to lose in the Finals.  We made our goal at the very beginning that we wanted to win this tournament badly.  We have taken the process step by step focusing only our next battle ahead, and round by round we have continued to advance on!  Now Nachos, we have finally made it to the Finals, but we aren’t finished yet though!  One more win is all it takes!  It’s time to finish what we have started, Nachos!

Preparation for that moment begins right now, Nachos.  We must continue to work hard day in and out, so we will be ready for the Finals this weekend.  Our battle this weekend will be no easy task as we will be facing the Ice Warriors.  If we continue like we have been, Nachos, I have no doubt that we will be victorious.  However, we can only get we were we desire if everyone in the army contributes once more!  Our time is now, Nachos! 😀

Eddy: VICTORY SCREECH

I apologize for this post being fashionably late.

Hola,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Today, you soldiers displayed courage, and pure ferocity against a well known foe – no, just kidding, what happened today didn’t even meet the basic criteria to be classified as a battle. It was a tactics expo. A really great tactics expo. Every emote, phrase, and bomb that was proposed was executed fluently, and exquisitely. Had ACP been in the battle room, they would have loved us. But what am I talking about exactly? Well, allow me to present you with a quick synopsis of this proclaimed “battle.”

THE TOURNAMENT

We began our day by huddling in the pool, like every democratic army should. We did some standard emotes, and were even met by a few brave ACP stragglers, who came to observe our masterful size. And after a few more action sequences, we prepared to enter the dreadful, and inconspicuous landfill known as the mine. We were met by a lagstorm of joke bombs upon our arrival, so instinctively, as a witty retort, we did the same. So since the mine isn’t exactly the greatest representation of an arcology, we weren’t all able to fit in there – but neither was ACP, who took the majority of the hit. About a minute and half after ACP got locked out, the tournament committee passed a rule giving ACP permission to enter, and do their stuff in the snow forts. However, we didn’t know this until the results were announced because. Anyways, our famed and beloved leader, Puckley  put us into a formation that personally, I was a bit skeptical of at first. Anyhow, it proved to be our best formation of the day, and we were apt to utilize an array of tactics because of its design. What was it? A “Z.” Yes, a “Z.” A “Z” looks good with 45 virtual people in it. Following that glorious period of wonderfulness, we frenzied a little, created another circle (the first one I didn’t bother to mention), and we hung out in the mine for the remainder of the battle.

Oh, and we reached 50. That’s awesome. And since Puck is so good to you guys, he made six people moderators, and two people owners. This is a temporary promotion. After three days (Tuesday, March 19th), they will be demoted back to their original status.

Bottom line: WE WON

*Note to DW: We don’t multi-login. It was a good try, a nice try really. The pics you pulled were from another event. And honestly, DW is way more probable to use bots than any other army – combined.

Hola Nachos!

As you well know, today is the day of the big battle against the ACP!  If you didn’t know that, well, you must have been living under a rock.  Today’s battle is very important, so I hope you all can make it today!  The winner of the battle will move onto the championship!  It will definitely be an intense battle today, but also a very fun one that you’ll remember for a long time!  We are hours away from the battle as I’m writing this, so I thought I’d let you know what we’re doing today and some helpful things for today.

Let’s try to hit 45-50+ Nachos today! 😀

LOGIN TIME:

❗ PLEASE ARRIVE APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES BEFORE THE STARTS ❗

Both armies will show up with large sizes today, so it’s important that you arrive to the battle EARLY. We need to be ready and organized BEFORE the actual battle starts. We cannot have people logging on at the last minute as the battle starts or else that will just throw us all off.  Not to mention if you show up late or right when it begins, you will most likely get locked out the room (and we don’t want that!).  I recommend that you try your best to get there about 45 minutes early if you can.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE LOCKED OUT OF THE ROOM

If you do happen to get locked out of the room, whatever you do, absolutely do not log off or give up!  Keep trying to get into the room!  The judges for the battle take into account the army’s full size which means those who are locked out too, so even if you can’t get in you are still contributing in a key way.  If you keep trying to get into the room, it will work eventually.  Trust me!

The battle is at the Mine, so if you are locked out go to the Pool and try to get into the Mine from the Pool.

Just as a reminder (not like you need one since you have been seeing the same post at the top of the site every day :wink:), here is the time for the start of the battle today:

• 3:00 pm Eastern

• 7:00 pm United Kingdom

WHAT WE ARE JUDGED ON

For today’s battle, we are judged on three things: size, tactics, and consistency.  All are pretty much self-explanatory.  I will say this though.  It is important that you stay on for the ENTIRE battle (it’s only 30 minutes…).  Our size must stay consistent throughout the whole battle.  Also, make sure to be alert and do the tactic every time until everyone does it.  For phrases, it helps to copy the phrase then paste it again!

BATTLE TIPS

Well, I have shown you these multiple times already, but they are important and are what will win us the battle.  Take a minute or two and please review them! 😀

• Be on Nacho Chat early, and be ready to log on 30 to 45 minutes prior to the actual battle starting.
• Listen to the leaders (owners). Do not listen to any other rank. Follow the orders given from the leaders, and carry out those orders on Club Penguin.
• Do NOT leave the room the Nachos reside in. If the ACP are in a different room, there is NO need to see how big they are. Focus on the Nachos and what we’re doing. We are the stronger army.
• Do NOT sit on each other! Stand shoulder-to-shoulder to appear as large as possible; don’t overlap!
• If the Nachos switch rooms, YOU MUST MOVE QUICKLY. The ACP will follow, and if you’re too slow, you may get locked out. Be alert and pay attention, so this will not happen to you.
• DO THE TACTIC UNTIL EVERYONE DOES IT. If the tactic is a phrase, it helps to copy it then paste it again.
• Do not get discouraged if you are locked out. Keep trying; it will open up!
• “It’s not over until the last man is standing.” Never ever give up.
• Above all, have fun! This is a huge battle, but we want everyone to enjoy it as well!

REWARDS

If we win today, promotion day will come early for this month and would be released next Saturday!  If you attend today’s battle, it will GREATLY increase your chance of getting a promotion then!

We will again be handing out chat promotions to a few lucky people, but to get one you have to do the following:

1. Log on early on Club Penguin and Nacho chat! (30-45 minutes early)
2. Stay on Club Penguin the ENTIRE battle! (It’s only a 30 minute battle…)
3. Follow the exact orders given from Nacho chat!

Chat Rewards:

• OWNERSHIP will be granted to one lucky soldier if these things happen . . .
   They fight at the battle, start to finish.
   (1 more owner) If we get 45+ soldiers.

• MODSHIP will be granted to four lucky soldiers if these things happen . . .
   They fight at the battle, start to finish.
   (3 more mods) If we win the battle.

NOTE: Awarded Modship/Ownership will last for 3 days, unless you abuse your power. If you abuse your power, we will member you instantly.

Hola Nachos!

The countdown begins until the start of the big battle!  Tomorrow, we will face off against the Army of Club Penguin, and the winner will move onto the championship!  It will be a battle that you will definitely not want to miss, I can assure you of that! You have probably heard older Nachos recalling a huge battle that they once battled in. Tomorrow will be like that, Nachos, but how it will turn out relies completely on YOU and your other fellow troops! I have said this time and time again that when we all work together putting in our absolute best effort, there is no one who can stop us. If we do that tomorrow, Nachos, we will come out victorious!

We have made it this far, Nachos, and now is not the time to back down. It’s time to pick up the intensity even more and bring an even better performance than ever before. We must bring our absolute best performance tomorrow. For the last two weeks, we have had no problem being able to reach 40 Nachos. We have been growing more and more each week, so let’s shoot even higher and go for 45. Hell, let’s go for 50!

Most likely the ACP will show up in good numbers, so we must be ready to go by the time the battle starts tomorrow. The ACP is trying to use this as a statement battle to announce that they are back for sure. I’ll tell you this, Nachos, we are not going to let them succeed in doing that. Not on our watch!  This is our time!
