Unfortunately, due to my imminent [mock] exams, which begin on the 2nd, I need to begin revising. Yes, despite them being mocks they are still relatively important- it’s my last chance to properly practice exams before my final ever exams in school. They are therefore very important. For this reason I will not be able to come online too much next week, however I will try to come on as much as I possibly can. It’s just that this may not be much. I’m sorry for the annoyance that this will cause.
It is why I will be expecting a big step up from the owners and my fellow leaders. Thank you to those who are working very hard anyway, I’m sure you know who you are.
Thank you

Does it annoy anyone else at how bad CP’s support can be sometimes? The other day I sent them an email asking about the Maximum Login glitch, and this was their reply;

Now, I didn’t screen shot my initial query form thing, but I can tell you this, Club Penguin’s reply would have been very useful if it were not for one tiny thing. I SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT I HAD TRIED TO DELETE MY CACHE. Why, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY do they never listen. Ever. I’m sure they didn’t even read my email properly. It was probably a simple case of seeing the words ‘Maximum login attempts’ and then copying and pasting some pre-wrote load of tripe.
It’s so disappointing that Disney’s/CP’s staff don’t have time to interact properly with their community at all. It’s a sad state of affairs, and I believe it shows Disney’s disdain for work and effort in regards to their online games. I suppose they need to keep those profit margins high somehow.
Thank you

Unfortunately many of us were having major technical issues while trying to login today. Club Penguin was displaying an error message stating ‘Maximum Login Attempts Exceeded. Please try again in an hour’. So we did. And it still didn’t work. I sent a nice Email to Disney about this. I’m onto them though, I know it’s because they don’t want us robbing the pizza parlour :@.
Some troops were thankfully able to login however, so we do have some pictures. Thank you to Max for providing the pictures and leading the few troops who could login.

[To whoever’s picture that is, I really don’t like the colour of your taskbar :$]
So, this is chat;

Compared to the amount who were able to login;

Hopefully next time the Disney Police won’t be there to ruin the fun.
Thank you to everyone for trying to come,
Comment if you came for the event!

It’s that thing that you’ve all been waiting for! How Much? #5.
Now time for last week’s winner…………
It’s……
Cooldude1a [Catburys]
That gives Cat 2 wins, placing her him on equal terms with Legofan who also has 2 wins.
Last week’s item was a javelin anti-tank missile. Each missile costs around $78,000-$86,000 depending on your source. Cat guessed closest with $80,000. Unfortunately with a guess of $1 billion, our temp owner Max was the furthest out.
Now for this week’s item.
How much is this?
Remember, all currencies are welcomed and encouraged.
[HAHAHAHAHAHA TRY GOOGLE REVERSE SEARCHING THAT]
Thanks

With the arrival of new temporary owners and the R.P.S.A.H.T.S.L.N.B.D rules put forward by Darkman, it is time to begin a reformation of the way owners work.
While there have been many owners throughout the Nacho’s history who have put much hard work and effort into their ownership duties, there are many who have not. They may have been hard working and loyal Nachos -they would not have been owners otherwise- but they do not necessarily carry out the duties expected of them as owners. This is something that needs to change. Owners are a vital component to a successful army. Every owner needs to put their fullest effort into the duties required of them. It is for this reason that yet more rules and expectations are to be introduced, to ensure that the Nachos reclaim their place as the strongest army in Club Penguin, and that the troops are part of a fun and enjoyable army.
Without further ado.
The Expectations of Owners 2015 Article 1
- Owners are expected to post a minimum of once fortnightly [2 weeks], and are expected to average around one post each week. This does not include results posts.
- Owners are expected to build strong bonds with lower ranked troops, and to continue to interact with people in a positive way.
- Owners are expected to make it to a minimum of one event each week. Please note ‘minimum’.
- Owners are expected to represent the leadership in the absence of a member of the leadership. They must do this in a conscientious way that does not threaten the well being of the Nachos as an army.
- Owners are expected to have the capacity and willingness to learn and adapt. This includes becoming deft in leading events on Club Penguin.
- Owners are expected to put as much effort as they possibly can into the Nachos; the Nachos should be their primary army.
- If an owner is unable to meet any of the above they must inform a leader as to why. However, if they persistently fail to meet these expectations then there is a high risk of losing their a. Privileges b. Rank.
These are not difficult expectations, they aren’t too dissimilar to what is currently expected. But these expectations are here to place an emphasis on owners. They are here to ensure that this army runs smoothly.
I apologise if any of you consider these expectations a burden, but I will re-emphasise that they are not difficult to uphold.
Thank you.

I’ve given them a really ridiculous name. Hahahahahahahahha,

It’s been awhile, please, do not murder me 😦 TODAY I BRING TO YOU HOW MUCH? THE NACHO GAMESHOW THAT’S TOTALLY NOT COPIED OFF SOME RANDOM AMERICAN ONE.
Legofan currently has the most wins with 2. However, someone different won round 3! The winner of round 3 was….
COOLDUDE1A
Well done, indeed that paper clip was worth a house! Ok, so the paper clip itself wasn’t worth the house, but it earned someone a house. I’m sure you all know the story, but if you do not, you can read more about it here.
And for this week’s How Much?
How much is this worth;

And remember, all currencies are encouraged in your answers! To answer, just comment your answer in a comment below.
Thank you!

Yes.
Ok, maybe not on EVERYTHING. But making sure you comment on as many posts as you can add to is vital to the army as a whole.
It’s been said to death, but you really should comment on as many things as possible. This doesn’t mean just spamming any random nonsense on a post. Make comments that actually add to the discussion. Owners want to know your thoughts, the thoughts of a troop of a Nacho army. It really helps us a lot.
Commenting is important for other things too. The most important of these being promotion days. Now you all know that the best way to earn promotions is by going to events and on chat regularly. But did you know that commenting on the site also contributes to whether you get a promotion or not? It helps leaders to know who is active, and whether they care enough about the Nachos to deserve a promotion.
I really do expect to see people commenting on the site more often. It will help both me and you.
Now, for some entertainment here is a blast from the past;

Thank you!

I can’t say I’m particularly happy with the event. Sizes weren’t good enough for a Saturday, there is no disputing that. We maxed around 15. However, I’m very pleased with everyone who came. Tactics were good, and many people had the opportunity to lead, and they did a very good job of it. Thank you for that. We also had a few swimming lessons from Guitar towards the end of the event which are guaranteed to get you killed. Even if Guitar says “Yes Diving” please don’t make a mistake in thinking that you won’t die if your head cracks off the bottom of the pool. Just a bit of a PSA.
Thank you to Lego for some pictures.
Btw Lao, the server was Fjord...
Comment if you made it!

Unfortunately today’s Euro event was unable to go ahead, this is because of some Club Penguin server issues. The UK event will be moved to tomorrow,
Thursday, 8th of January at 8pm GMT, 3pm EST, 2pm CST, 1pm MST, 12pm PST
The current events post has been updated to show this.

Does anyone else absolutely hate how in the error message Club Penguin asks ‘Having trouble connecting?’. “No, of course not! I simply have an orange box preventing me from logging in!”. I hate you Disney. Why do you have to be so happy and optimistic. 😦
Thank you.
